Moisture meter recommendations?

Cannabis is wood. Just stick the pins in a stem. Not sure how useful a measurement that is but I was reading on grove bags website they recommend bagging when buds have 13% moisture content, so I thought I'd try that. I jarred them when the stem of an average bud reached that point, maybe 5 days after harvest and they quickly rebounded into a humidity range suitable for curing.
I don't believe it is truly wood. Wood like yes.

I just measured a (what I would consider extremely dry) stem from my dirty bench and it read 13%
Then it's ready to jar!

I harvested plants. Broke them down and ran them through my trimmer and spread them in mesh to dry. I sampled lots of buds with the meter every day. They started out at around 28% and dropped every day. When it hit 12% I jarred at which point I started monitoring relative humidity inside the jar instead of internal moisture content. What do you think Grove used to determine optimum moisture content for bagging/jarring buds as opposed to relative humidity in a closed container?

A bunch of bullshit. This is at 14%..........it's been sitting there for a while. It's extremely dry.

Cannabis is a bast fiber, similar to linen therefore it is cellulose based so a wood moisture meter should work just fine.

I should be finding out soon if that's true. I'm doing my initial run (with bread) to do a break in and cleaning run to make sure any chemical offgassing isn't absorbed by cannabis.

What are you doing with a freeze dryer? And can I come over and make my own backpacking food?

Maybe a link to the machine so I can start measuring for space?

Medium, 5 shelf and the new firmware allows me to lower the shelf dry temps. I went with black.

I also got this Blackstone prep cart so I could keep all the bags and other requirements in one place:

and I need to get up stairs and cut through a wall, brb.

Did you splurge on the oil free pump?
