I am considering Growing MOB Mother Of Berry. It was originally a Clone only strain from Maine.
I will acquire the seeds from Royal Canadian Marijuana Collective.

Maine's own Blueberry comes to life in seed form. A clone from original MOB has been self'ed and a large yielding super tasty pheno was self'ed again. These should be very fast, inside and out. Phenos inside will be 42-55 days flowering at 12/12. Outside expect a late August finish below 45N, and North of 45 expect early to mid Sept. Large yields with a good early season veg. Do not start inside at more than 18hrs of light, as these are highly light sensitive. Good Mold resistance. Female seed. Germ tested. Experimental untested.
Any input from anyone who has any experience with this would be much appreciated.
I have done some research on the internet it appears it is a Photoperiod strain not an Auto Flower strain.
Which means I should be able to keep a mother Plant indoors if desired?
The area where I could use some input is that they say this strain is highly light sensitive.
I would like to start these indoors in 3 gallon containers with 18 hours a day of light.
Yet I do not want to do this and then stick them outside and have them switch to flowering.
The Breeder says do not start inside at more than 18hrs of light; as these are highly light sensitive.
I am a little concerned if I start them inside 6 to 8 weeks before I plant them outdoors at 18 hours a day of light.
The date that I am planning on putting them outdoors from sunrise to sunset only equals 15 hours of light.
I realize that I may be able to add 1 hour to that total as it actually starts getting light a half hour before sunrise and is not totally dark until after a half hour after sunset .
So at best when I stick them outside they will have 16 hours of day light.
So I guess my question is;
If I start them at 18 hours of light 6 to 8 weeks before I put them outdoors.
Will the shorter outdoor light (15 to 16 Hours) of daylight trigger them to switch to flower?
If so would I just be better off to start them indoors at 15 hour of light to mimic what light they will have available when I put them outside?
