I am attempting to be accepted as a QA with HC . I am A HACCP Certified Auditor and have work for the federal Gov for 12 years inspecting / auditing and LP I am applying with is on the last attempt. Does anyone have a template of a approved QA I would hate to submit a inadequate response to the requirements
Hey Northern Nan, good luck. I have yet to see any specifics on what has been submitted for successful QA's and there is no 'template' that I know of.....I don't think you will find that sort of info here, but I could be wrong about that. All I have seen from the HC end is repeated statements that there are no specific requirements for the position and that it is up to the applicant to prove that the QA professional in question is competent and capable of carrying out all duties covered in Division 4 of the MMPR.
What I do know from speaking to multiple sources (I'm a QA professional myself), is that HC is playing games and using the QA person as a pawn to stall and weed out applicants. In many cases, there is a lot of evidence pointing to HC rejecting QA's because they have an issue with the application/company in question and not their QA. I'm aware of QA's that were denied on some applications, only to be immediately accepted on others.
Personally, I would recommend that you to have a very close look at the application as a whole and who the company is. At this stage of the game, I think an application has to be absolutely perfect to have a realistic chance, and that means zero holes on any front. If they are on the smaller end, and don't have some connections or other factors working in their favour, then the odds are unfortunately stacked against them at this stage. If they've already had multiple QA's rejected, it makes me think that there could be other issues with the application as well. With your experience and credentials there shouldn't be any problem, so if you aren't accepted the problem definitely lies somewhere else for the prospective LP, IMO.
Just make sure you are doing your due diligence on the company trying to hire you as I have found many to be misleading about the status of their application, details of their business, and their ultimate chances of approval (and job for you).
