soo.

i may or may not be (but probably not) growing tomatoes. i have 5 of them. and i know 4 are females, or do i?

So the biggest plant is about 1.5 ft from maxing out my space, OR IS IT!?

and i am one week in flower... (Oh boy) and i still have to take dupes from my girls.

so.. i was wondering if this is plausable.

the tall one is the only one that isnt topped. all the others have atleast 4 tops (cuz im pro)

So...
could i take the tall bitch and take a dupe from the top 6 inches to reduce the plants height? Would she shoot out more tops after even though its in fllower (1week)

and then start tieing or throw a net on top of them?

Sound good?

okay i had planned on tying.

But i still have to take my clones so... could i use the top of the tall one instead of a low branch?

Would it still double as topping even though its started flower?

Yes but do it asap, and don't cut too much. personally if i see bud/hair forming at the tip i wouldn't top it, itll delay flowering

you should have started clones before flower, cloning a plant in flower is alot harder.

tie it down as best you can, remember, not all at once, if u bend it slowly a little each day or two you can make it any shape you want
if u bend to fast youll break the branches. ive used fishing weights at the end of branches, that works good.

oh, and on your original post. i hope to god you were being funny.
cuz otherwise u suck at coverstories bigtime.

A. this is a pot growing forum. a forum for conversing about various ways to grow pot. (more or less) so the tomato coverstory is a little facetious.

2. your coverstory directly contradicts itself in the first 2 lines. if your gonna go with theoretical you have to stick with it.

C. if you know one is male unless u plan on polinating fucking kill it right godamn now or ull regret it. if u are pollinating cut off every fucking branch but one right now.

yeah i was being serious...
and im growing tomatoes in a box....

lolwtf.

k so im going to start tying and take clones from lower branches to inflict less damage and prevent bud delay as much as possible
but im not all that worried as there isnt any bud top yet and only a couple pistils per plant at this stage, so all should be well.

also i had to wait to know the sex of my tomatoes otherwise it would have been done in veg.

tomato plants are not dioecious, therefore you do not have to wait to sex your tomatoes, cause they will not sex. Also with tomatoes you should be worried about bud delay, the fruit is what you grow for.

What strains of tomatoes are you growing.

I grow 20 different heirloom tomato strains ... such a variety of shapes, colors, tastes and textures from the furry skinned Wapsipinicon Peach to the tiny Broad Ripple Yellow Currant.

If you would like to share tomato growing information, send me a message.

Just kidding, I do grow 20 types of tomatoes but I can't be fucked talking about them :-)
