MMJ oil worked, now I convinced.

A while back I made some medical grade oil for my preacher's wife. She passed without ever trying it since it was against the law.

Anyway, my husband used to be a red head and has tons of freckles and quite a few moles. He has had this one exceptionally large mole on his neck and it has changed but the doc says not to worry.

You do know what I did with the extra oil, don't you?

Day 1: applied a thick coating of oil to the ugly, crusty mole.

Day 2: thick crusty outer coating fell off in one piece. Healthy looking ordinary mole underneath.

Kept apply everyday for 2 weeks. Then stopped for a week since we traveled.

Today I checked and it is significantly smaller and you can see where the moles old perimeter was and is being replaced by healthy tissue. AMAZING.

We are now reapplying it to the mole everyday.

I have something like brown freckles on my feet I got them a couple of years ago from running around bare foot in FLA. I've been to 3 doctors they have no idea what it is. The common remark was it doesn't hurt, it doesn't itch, it's just freckles on your feet, get over it. It's ugly and when I'm bare foot people look.

I put some oil on it. It is just about gone. I could have saved myself around $150 in doctor fees. This year I'm wearing sandles!!!!

Congratulations and may I add awesome! I've got to look into this. I too could do without a few doctors fees. And melanoma.

Great find! I've been doing some reading up on oils made from the roots as well. Supposed to be good for pain but maybe other uses? Info seems scarce on it.

I've had some roots and oil in the crockpot for a couple days now, going to finish it up tonight or tomorrow. Hoping to have some good experiences with it :weed:

Please let us know.

I'm curious what compounds could be contained in the roots that are beneficial?

Did you make BHO or Simpson oil WW? How did the process go for you. It's dangerous unless you know what's up...
I made an oil. Followed the basic instruction in this video EXCEPT: First, I heated the mmj on a cookie sheet to 270 degrees for 3 minutes. It 'activates' the cbd and makes them 'usable', not sure of the terminology to use.

Instead of using a distiller I used my favorite pot on my glass top electric range. I used a thermometer to make sure the temps didn't get above 170. A gas stove is a definite no-no. The fumes are not flame friendly.

It works for me. I'm amazed.

NOTE: Don't use your good equipment to make it. The residue is very, very sticky and it is very hard to remove.

Hook up with "pflover" from Treatingyourself.com. pf makes a pain "balm" from the roots that works great. pf is an awesome "researchist" (ya.. I know it's not a word... but you know what I mean) and has written many many excellent articles on pot, by-products and many other really interesting topics.

why the roots? They are the ONLY part of the plant which has 0 thc? I am not sure about cbd/cbn but 0 thc. The stalks and stems can carry about 10% but thats about the max.

If I recall correctly... (and sometimes I don't...) I think I've heard that weed roots are toxic when ingested... so don't eat them or any product made from them. At least check it out and make sure I'm right or wrong...

From what I've gathered, the alkaloids in the roots have medicinal properties as well. There doesn't seem to be much consolidated info, so I figured try it out.

I'm sure this has been linked before,

It seems wild to me that if it does work it's not more widely used, but i guess that happens

anyway, sorry winter woman, didnt mean to take it off topic

Thanks for the tip. You just saved my favorite pot I thought it was ruined.
Get the 99% stuff and an abrasive brush of some kind. It's a bitch even with high quality ISO if you have been cooking it. Probably able to be saved though. Also your PM box is full!
