Ok, so I have an old tool shed, that has been converted to a greenhouse. Its 10x10' and very very bright inside, even has direct sun. One skylight, two windows, and a huge door that locks. I plan on keeping the windows open for a while, to cool it. It is about 65 outside, and 80 in the greenhouse, so I truly think this will work. I also have power to the house, for any artificial light, and any fans I might need. Pain in the ass to run it, but its done.
Sidenote: tomorrow the house is getting insulation and will get either white fabric walls, or mylar walls, not sure yet.
4/12/09 - 6PM. Took one of my verified female Sativa rooted clones, and planted her in a 10" pot with Miracle Gro Organic Soil. Trying this new soil out, I usually go with Fox Farm Ocean Forest, but hell, might as well try something new. Clone is about 4" long, with 4" healthy roots. After planting, she went straight into the west facing window of the greenhouse, where she received full direct evening sun. I opened the windows today, and will leave them open for a few days, to see how well I can regulate the temperature within the greenhouse. I do not want it to get hotter than 90 in there during the spring and 100 during the summer. The thermometer works well so far, looks like I have a +20 degree change within the house.
