Mixing soils good or bad idea?

hey all i got a few questions for yall plz speak ur minds i need the input!!!!!!kiss-ass
ok im growing MG soil i know it sucksbut so far so good for my plants im growing 10 bag seeds under a 400 MH/hps in a tent hoping to get a oz per plant 5-6 females was planing on growing them just in 1 gallon pots the whole way what r my chances wit that plan?

MY MG soil N-P-K is .21-.07-.14 couldnt find the same soil i had at the store so i got expert garder organic mix its n-p-k is different its .06-.09-.06 is it ok to mix these soils?

sorry i dont know about the soil but 1 ounce per plant in a gallon pot is do able i think .good luck

jester, you should be fine with mixing those soils. just don't give any more nutes until 2-3 weeks into your grow. that soil will have plenty to go around. check your pH and don't water too much. MG soil isn't awful but it sure can nute burn.

also you might want to consider getting larger pots, maybe 2-3 gallon containers. they are super cheap at most hydroponics stores... $3ish.

if you are worried about height in your tent you can always do a little topping or bending. i've found that a bit bigger pot helps considerably when your ladies start to get laden with that oh-so-sweet bud.
