Mix lighting

Anyone have experience using CMH along with LEDs? Is it necessary that I use 4200k bulb for veg and a 3100k for flower even if I'm using the LED alongside of the CMH? My LED is 630w and CMH is 315w, I'm growing in a 4ftx8ftx6.5ft open loop space.

You will be fine mixing those spectrums. You won't need to change the CMH out. The 4200k will be fine alongside LEDs. I assume your LED is a mix of 3000k/5000k with reds or similar?

I wouldn't stress much. My old supplier used to run a 630 CMH (4000k)in the middle and 2x300w 3000k/5000k boards (one on either side) of the CMH, and the product was A1. Was in a 10x5 tent.

Nice! I'm honestly not sure if my led 3000k/5000k Its definitely a full spectrum light though. It's a photontek. Not sure how to set my CMH up with the led. I've never used CMH bulbs before but I've read you don't want them too close to the plants but my led I can have only inches away from canopy. I don't want put one above the other but I want all my plants to get light from both lights.
