you need to get them treated asap but unrooted it may be too much keep them isolated till they are mite and egg free

its called diatomaceous earth, comes in a powder, its from diatomite, its a rock thats easily crumbled into powder, mix that stuff in with that top 1-2" of your soil. all the mites will get cut to their deaths when they walk on it which they will. kills alot of different bugs.

Get some neem oil, spray em down.
but it might come in stuff called like insectigone, or ant killer etc, ask the person at the front about it cause when i went to find it last week i couldnt then i asked and they told me in comes in different names. but man its killer natural stuff cause the bugs like to eat it aswell and it cuts their insides.
EDIT: make sure the ingredient is only diatomaceous earth and attract nothing else or it could harm your plants (like chemicals,etc)

NO! It is not safe to spray......then again, I've never tried.
Experiment if you truly question. My instincts just said no with sprays.
Simply take a q-tip, dip in 50% alcohol and swab ever last inch...other than where root development will be taking place of course.
I've done this with several different strains, along with many houseplants......I assure you, it will not hurt a thing, but again.....you don't have to take my word for it. Try it for yourself.

if you have no mites at your grow, throw the fucking cuttings away it is not worth the risk.
thats pretty much how i feel, grow out bag seed or some shit, mites can be persistent as fuck.
edited to add:
other than that if you really want to keep them i would as was said before i would swab the cuttings with alcohol water mix, no more than 1:2 alcohol:water. make sure you hit the stem of the cutting as well as they can populate the stem as well... they can also populate your grow medium too, hydroton included...
i would honestly try to come across some shit without mites, they can be a fucking nightmare... make sure you wash your hands good if you are fucking with other plants, and was your clothes after you are done...

No treat the plants and DE works better for gnats not mites.
You should be able to wash away the mites and eggs at this point
yeh but ive found it to be quite good with killing mites aswell. its the best organic way to go, not way u can harm the plant. and yes if its only a few u can wash them off, if they didnt lay eggs. check the soil with a magnify glass to see if u have more.
EDIT: Ive recently had gnats and mites in my soil and DE killed them both. and i had hundreds of mites.

the cuttings are fresh and not rooted i doubt they are even in soil at this point

if you check the instructions moisture has a negative impact on DE's effectiveness... just so ya know.
ya i know i forgot to mention that the soil has to be dry.
