I have a flowering plant indoors about 7th week discovered small mite infestation. Anyway the flowering cycle is at night. Hmmm, could anyone tell me could I possibly put plant outside to finish maybe let the dark cycle go for 24 hrs then into sweet sun??? And does anyone have a remedy for mites on plants 2 weeks into flowering??

I use dry ice. Dropping dry ice into a metal container with hot water above your plants will cause the CO2 vapor to drift down onto your plants and if you seal off the grow area, it will fill with the CO2 and suffocate all the pests in there. This will not kill their eggs tho. It can be dangerous for you as well so be cautious and look up dry ice methods in gardens, there's a lot of information out on this here internet

have just chopped down2/3 weeks early because of the little fuckers cut my losses an all but lost hella bud densaty and crystals. i am using double wardrobe with 5"cool tube 5" duct fan and a 5"cool tube running a 250 HPS light.
i decided this time i would ripped out all my reflective sheeting hoovered swepped the hole room. come pay day new reflective sheeting + new carbon filter. in the mean time i am washing down with strong strength bleach and finishing up with spidermitespray SMC controle high strength. i use it successfullky in my veg room.

what i am thinking because i have had this problem quite a few times befor. ! kill everything clean everything start from scratch. to expensive. could be because i have my bedromm windowopen almost 24hr a day. or it could be the difference in temp and humidity during the night. the temp rainge of 30'c down to 15/18'c but humidity from 20-30%during the day and anything up to 70-80% at night use cocco and clay pebbles as meadium. what about putting reflective sheeting over the meduium to keep it moist and warm or could that cause other problems?

i no symple answere better venterlation at night would sort half the problem out but myset up is in my bedroom in my wardrobe and sound being a problem.

anyother ideaes ontop of what i am doing..

i have just finished my grow and its been 4 grows since i have had full clean out as it does sound OTT ripping everything out as much it did haha.

i have heard you can put the temp and humidity up as high as possible which popps the fuckers and the eggs to but for maybe just everyother day so not to stress to much.

weeeeeedoooozi you mention about co2 could you use suger water and yeast would not that do the same thing ??????

hope someone can help

I think dry ice may be a cheaper alternative...

I've used mylar 2mm sheets cut into the circular shape of my planter pots to put on top of my medium with a cut down the center and a hole large enough for the stalk of my plants. I've found it works well but you have to make sure to remove it when watering or foliar spraying

I think the humidity being in the 20-30% range during the day is whats causing your pest problems. Mites for one thrive in a low humidity environment and are capable of hibernating through high humidity/low temperature times until the humidity drops down/temps rise again. Dry Ice fog would probably help you with that. Also, foliar spraying with water and canola oil/other horticultural oils and organic soaps such as Dr. Bronner's Hemp soap will help smother any eggs that survive the CO2 fog
