your gonna want a ph meter and a ppm meter and ph up and ph down cause with hydro its much more inportent to have a good ph and ppm (parts per million). other than that I think you got everything.

Thanks man! I forgot to mention I have a PH kit as well, I forgot Up and Down completely though, is there a natural way to do this? I have a budget of $600 and I am already at $638 lol.

Hey man I was gonna get a setup simmilar to yours from htg,I split my order up and got my fans and tent from amazon,be sure a cord comes with.....have u ever heard the digital ballast disupting cable boxes,be sure to check in too that that's why Im getting a magnetic mh/hps,unless Ur legal then go ahead,happy growing.

Going to look into that right now - I really like the tent from HTG, how much was your price difference ordering from amazon?

I know their are a few organic's you can use to adjust ph not to sure which ones though.
you can knock your bill down a bit if you build your own tent all you need is 2x3's and black and white polly ( panda film ) or even start out with pro-mix or sunshine mix in grow bags you still use the hydro nutes but you can also do organic with it.

amazon has a bunch of tent brands, mine cost 65$ for a 48x24x60 and its much wider than htgs kit tent, i lose 3 inches in height but that i will make up for by lsting, i see a virtual sun on amazon with prime shipping dimensions 48x48x78 for 115$ prolly get one cheaper i didnt look to deep. but my htg tent was 130$ and that was for a 22x36x63 so i saved some $$$ for sure..htg list there 47x47x79 for 185$$$ thats 55$ savings alone :hump:

i had two digital ballasts 600w running 20 feet from a cable box never got busted never disrupted my cable or anything if you want a first hand experience with this

You can save a lot of money going with Ebay instead of HTG, HTG is okay on some stuff but the better deals can usually be found on Ebay even if they are from htg lol, here is a perfect example of what I'm talking about, the exact same combo even the same picture, on htgs site its 220.32 shipped, on ebay its 159.75 shipped, its so fucked up its almost not even funny, but it is funny i guess so much for customer appreciation...

Also man those yo yo light hangers in your shopping cart suck i know because I've owned them, i would recommend ratchet light hangers they are rated to carry a lot more weight and they are so much easier to use, with the yo yos its a balancing act of trying not to drop your reflector and bust it and trying to tighten the tension bolt it is really a huge pain in the ass these are cheaper and so much better. http://www.ebay.com/itm/2-Rope-Ratchet-Heavy-Duty-Light-Hanger-150-lbs-/130627233348?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item1e69fd6644

Hey OP man i just looked threw that shopping list of yours and man do not let them rip you off like that those prices are bull shit and that's why they have to cut them so much for ebay because no one shopping on ebay would buy there shit at those fucking ridicules prices, i didn't mind them so much before in fact i actually bought that same fan and filter combo from them years ago but after looking at what they are trying to charge you for that stuff they have just lost me a customer...

Also wtf man no carbon filter? With the money you would saved shopping some where else you could afford one...

Thanks everyone, I've got to say I looked everywhere last night - and I couldn't find a tent that compared in quality. I will check Ebay now.

Wasn't that worried about smell really - I don't have neighbors and I don't have much company at all.

But if I can afford one =) I will get it!

Also not worried about RF interference! Closest cable is 30ft away, If it causes problems, I will move it 90 feet away. If then - I'll cover in foil, if still I will sell it ! lol digi is too hard to pass up!

I will go with some better hangars. Good looking out!

Was able to get everything down from $655 to $575 mix and matching. Not enough for Carbon filter, but money in my pocket!

Well my stuff started arriving Friday hooked up everything but the tent. Was just visited by the cable guy! Excuse me sir - we have traced some signal interference to your house - mind if I come in and take a look?

Told him I was headed to a pregnancy appointment - which I was.

Got home wrapped up everything in aluminum foil, he had a device that could pinpoint its exact feet away! Lol, he sitting at the pole, well its about 25 ft in your house.

He also found a breach in the wire going to my modem - a mouse had chewed on it, shielding was ionized inside of it as well. He replaced it - I own and operate a tech shop. Told him I was working on inventing a high efficiency power supply he asked to see it but I said no that it was my baby and until ready for production nobody could see it.

Anywho he said that after the breach in the wire is fixed what ever it is shouldn't affect it but sometimes it will. He mentioned that they use 5Hz-45hz, anything I operate outside of that range is A-Okay.

Going to power back up here soon with my tinfoiled wire and new wire he installed and see if that makes a difference...

Got everything moved in it now, unfortunately only place I could put it...its closer to my modem!! lol

But as he said it should be fine after fixing the wire.

damn man i ran digis for a whole year and never had that problem ever no cable guy nothing maybe you have a different ballast i use digital greenhouse i think from htg
