im not familiar w/ the product... does it have time release ferts? I'm pretty sure the 'teas' are to be used in an empty medium.

okay im retarded, i musta forgot i was on a computer... so google supplied me with this info (via the miracle grow site faq):

"How long will Miracle-Gro Organic Choice products feed my plants?

The natural plant food used in our Miracle-Gro Organic Choice products contains nutrients that are quickly available for fast greening and growth. The remaining nutrients release slowly and consistently for up to three months to sustain and keep the plant growing."

so basically, you will not want to add stuff in general, but esp. not w/out testing the soils npk throughout its life. once you find an opportunity in a grow stage to introduce more of one of the three, use a very simple organic tea or chem to supplement that one aspect (as slightly as possible). thats the problem with that time release shit, what a bummer.
aka plants need diff. npk balances @ diff. times. MG wont supply that diversity well.
hope that helps somewhat

so goat, what if u flush the soil between growth cycles? that would rid the soil of the nutrients that were put into the soil correct? and yes i am planning?wanting to use organic teas for my pots, but what mixes should i use for stages of life? or will any general tea work?

Check out the thread "making tea is EZ" cause that thread is pure old-school knowledge. it's under organic's category. That dude gives every npk value, wat to use when, etc. he's a ganja god, dude. anyways, i would have to guess that you cannot remove the time-release nutrients, lemme check.............. couldn't find shit, just attempt to flush once, and check to see if it lowers your soil's nute buildup. That might work for it, i dunno. get a soil tester. now give those scales some love, my man
