Miracle Grow

I hear about all the different nutes people are using. I didn't search very hard, but I never found them. I used normal MG for veg, and am using bloom booster for flowering. Also, I used MG soil and plant to use it when I replant in about a week.

Anyone else ever do an all MG grow and what are your thoughts? I keep reading threads about people using all organic. Is there an upside using organics?

No that I am trying to do an add for MG, but so far it appears to be working very well. Granted, I am careful not to over feed, though I plan to crank it up during flowering.

Thoughts?

Babe it looks good to me, I personally use Scott's brand but hey we all got our own ways, I may try MG next set I am just getting them out of seedling stage...I will keep that in mind HEY maybe I might alternate or do one with one kind and the other with MG.... Thank you very much for the idea... see this site is awesome.....BTW i think your plants look better than good I think they look awesome.... WTG....

ok did you start out with using mg as they were seeds or did you trans plant to mg after some time. i have some mg laying around premixed food i tryed to grow in it but from a start with seed they would make it. so i use somthing diff now.

with what you said i was thinking maybe trans plant to this soil after the plant grows and becomes stronger,after a few week maybe.

I used MG as the sole nute on my first grow. I ended up with one female and 3oz of dried budz.

Now I'm using the trio of Fox Farm nutes and they are working great.

But MG will work in a pinch!

Argh... I would not be a happy bear if after all of this effort I ended up with one female. However, 3oz of bud from one plants is pretty cool.

Blazen, thanks. I must agree. They are doing great and each day they just get better. I am so looking forward to them flowering so I can thin them out and really see what they will do.

For my next grow I will buy female only seed and plant only 4 (instead of 11), but I will use the same equipment. IMHO, I have a pretty sweet setup.

NEVER PURCHASE MIRACLE GROW ORGANIC CHOICE !!!!!! IT IS ABSOLUTE SHIT. I did some research and it is not even fully organic, much less they use so much mulch it dries into nearly concrete making drainage HORRIBLE. After realizing that they just completely LIED about it being organic to jump on the au natural bandwagon I have lost all faith in that bullshit brand.

ive bought miracle grow nutes .... cant rember wht its called but it says can grow plant 3 times bigger.... doubt it but yano, how else would they sell the stuff lol

Miracle Growers unite!

i used miracle grow with the time realse in it to from clones tell now, almost ready to turn to 12/12... My experiance is that the clones and the little guys do not like it, but once they get big enough to start nutes they really enjoy it and seem to be flurishing

i have 6 of my plants that i used miracle grow with 3 of them i used the basic miracle grow(blue) and the other 3 i used the tomato kind more nitrogen (red) out of the 2 the red seems to be doing better but i have 3 plants that im using goat manure with and 3 that im using fish on and 6 that are getting horse manure i also have 4 that are all natural but so far the ones getting manure are far better off but the next best is the red miracle grow i started all my plants with the blue mg from seedlings (did not know any better) and i only lost a few but i think it was more from over watering than nute burn i bought a cheap mix of potting soil and made my own mixture from there so that all my plants would have exactly same soil and light so the ferts are the only variable

I'm doing a Miracle Grow now, and the plants look very healthy. No problems yet!

I have to join the Miracle Gro users. I use Miracle potting soil/Miracle perlite & Vermiculite. I also use the Miracle Gro organic fert. & Chem. ferts. I'm not a Miracle Gro fanboy, although it may appear that way. I would actually like to give Fox Farms a try. But I must say that I have started seedlings, flowered plants, and taken clones all in Miracle Gro and my plants seem to be healthy. You just have to watch out for over feeding.

BTW - HumboldtGreen, great pictures. That for me says it all. End of argument. The shit works.

FWIW...

I don't like ANY soil with ferts added because I can't control feeding.
I have tried a few brands and was disappointed with all of them.

As far as fertilizers go...
MG works fine.....IMO, (MG for tomatoes works better for veg growth.)

My favorite ferts are Jack's Classic as mentioned by Vi above!
Most plants love Jacks.

With all chem ferts remember that less is more!

miracle nutes are all i use and they work great for me

Throw the miracle away and buy some Fox Farm Ocean Forest Soil.

You won't find a better soil medium than that.
