I took what you wrote above to mean that while your plants are in the vegetative growth stage Fox Farms says use Grow Big AND Big Bloom at the same time?

Was I correct or was I mistaken to believe that is what you said?

If so I would be curious where you learned that information because on the back of a bottle of Big Bloom it says; "Directions: Begin application when plants have reached their peak of vegetative growth and are starting to show first signs of flowering."

According to what it says on the back of a bottle of Big Bloom you would not use Big Bloom until the very end of a vegetative growth stage.

And if someone waits to see pre-flowers that will mean a vegetative growth stage period of time that is longer than some or many growers use because they only veg to a certain height and that can and often times is earlier in growth than pre-flowers will show up while the plant is in its vegetative growth stage.

Yes, GB and BB for veg. Have been doing this feeding regiment for years. Here see foryourself, a picture is worth a thousand words. And yes I have read the bottle. I based my measurments of the feeding scheduele from FF's website.

Pics are my girls, all fed with my feeding scheduele above.

Brick top, forgive me of my ignorance but when a plant shows preflower does that mean its done veggin and is going into soley flower? how long should a plant veg after showing preflower? Also I have brought plants back to veg from after harvesting, and haven't noticed any preflowers on them, why is that?

Due to the cycle and the high success rate of my clones, one plant was held over for the next cycle, its really preflowering....i've never vegged a plant this long....

Preflowers are a sign of sexual maturity. I have kept mothers over a year. Some strains show preflowers earlier than others. This does not always mean they are flowering.
