I have suspected that miracle gro was fucking my plants over so i got soil from outside that was a lot cooler then the normal soil and one plant shot its stems out fast in a few hours. They have brown spots on them and dried and damaged ends will they come back to life or just fall off? will this effect the growth and yeild of my plants? Before and after pictures of the plant i was talking about images 1 and 2. Please help me out with my babys.

the damaged leaves will die off but the new growth should look fine, it might stunt the growth a bit. It might set you back a week or so.

You replaced fortified, nutrient rich, chemically engineered, time release potting soil with yard dirt???

My plants love Miracle Gro and I highly recommend it. Anyways, you need to do some tests on this dirt to determine, pH, nutrient content, moisture retention, etc before you can determine whether or not it is suitable to grow cannabis.

Ah.. phew. Its a toss up whether they'll survive such a stressing event. Good thing is cannabis is resilient so your chances are good.

when using mg, overwatering kills most grows. water releases the nutes and causes burn. a moistier meter is worth their weight in gold. you soak your plants then let them dry almost completely before another watering.

I don't know about Miracle Gro Ferts, but the MG potting soil releases ferts every time you water the plant. I water once a week with a gallon to a gallon and a half and it works great. If you don't have appropriate drainage (Perlite amendment) or you water too often you do take the chance of burning the plant.
