Hey T check out the seedlings, the 2 smallest in the front are the 818s, in the back right in the small square containers.....the one on the left is the hindu kush and to the right of it are 2 seedlings of the superbud x blue dream!? Cool I'll see what happens.

I never priced the syuff, but I know I need root help. I used Rhizzotonic (sp), and it helped a lil, but was $23 for like 6oz or something.

How much and how often do you use MYCO?
If you need root help, get superthrive... once you start thrivin you will never go back. Superthrive = super root system (also zero stress transplants).

I have a partial bottle I got from an old neighbor over a yr ago. It was left outside during the summer. I guess I should just buy a new bottle.
Never used it since it might be too old.

you want good roots go with the lightest soiless mix you can make 1pt sph moss 1pt verm 1pt perlite add your guano bone meal blood meal worm castings if you can find em... if not just use the three parts keep it completely neutral.. I have autos in five gal buckets getting root bound.. i need a smaller root system lol..

For my roots right now its, Kelp meal, Earthworm Castings, Hygrozyme, and the Myco's.
Mine is pretty close to this, every transplant gets EWC, MYKOS, and then watered in with some Kelp/Humic and Hygrosyme.... btw I dont even ph it and it still works great!!!

Also you guys are all talking about Mycos products you can get RTI's A.K.A. Extreme Gardening's Mykos for like $20 for a LB. Also Plant Success and Hydro Organics both make a pound bottle of Mykos for like $15-$20 as well. Plant Success also makes Orca or Great White or whatever for like 5x the price but pretty much the same ingredidents list.

Personally i like Mykos best... I sprinkle in about a 1TSP per transplant and that is the only time I even add it with still awesome results.

All great info guys.

First off I am going to lighten up the MG soil, I haven't decided with what yet. Never used vermalite or coco before so I'm looking for suggestion on what to use. I used to use the clay pellets (hydroton?) in the bottoms of my containers for drainage but I don't think that I have any kicking around anymore. I'm using #3 perlite right now but it should be crushed into smaller pieces.

Thanks for the info on the myko EMO, I thought it would be available elsewhere much cheaper. This test will be ongoing, not just with these clones. I think I will be using MG soil and nutes for half of my garden for a while and try and dial that stuff in a little. I could also do a side by side with recycled amended OF. And with new OF lol. I think I'll end up recycling my OF after all that's what this threa is about...saving money. Or not blowing money on over priced products.

Man am I stoned lol. Double Grape Apollo boooooooooom!

careful reusing soil there will be alot of residual nutrients in them.. might wanna use a leaching product first... spray tops down with neem reall good too.

Thats why i use Hygrozyme/Sensizyme. they loosen up old salts and release them as nutes. My soil does fine without leaching. But i am organic, so anything that is left over is fine.

I found Extreme Gardening Mykos 2.2lb for $21.06/free ship on Amazon. Do you use the Azos with it? I read that they are best used together.

I know you are concerned that the MG is too heavy on it's own but I used it for my first indoor grow last year and I never had any problems. I grew out some Mandala Kalichakra, Mandala strains are very hardy, and got 2 ounces dried and cured a plant, in 3 gal. pots. I used Dyna Gro nutes but as I said the soil straight up was never a problem; roots were fine. Just sayin'.

Hey that's real interesting albsure, I would have thought that mj roots wouldn't be able to breath in MG. Always learning thanks for sharing your experience! The first three are in pretty much uncut soil as the large size perlite did very little. I'li see how they do in the smaller containers but when I pot up I will be areating it more. I'm a huge fan of lots of air for the roots :)

Thanks for playing bro ; !)

If you do add something, add coco and perlite. That's what I use anyway :)
Thanks sensei! That's where I'll lean towards then when I pot them up in a couple of weeks

All 6 of the test subjects got a little more water today. I give them very little at first and make them have to stretch their roots to find it. The Ocean Forest girls were dry and readyfor another drink. The MG soil was still most but I added a little still.
