Also how big should i let my plants get before giving nutes..i know the soil is supposed to cover them for a certain amount of time...ima post pics
agreed.... mg nutes are fine for veg, just gotta be careful with them as they're hot as hell... but for flower, I prefer to use something of quality and organic.I have used there Mix with nutes which are minute and the MG flower food is just right for Veg but ya have to get some quality food for Flower.Ya get what you put in.
MG is hot as hell? Define hot as hell? All ferts have the same bottom line product. Shits your plants metabolize and use for different functions. Show me a fert that does not have a Nitrogen - Phosphorous - Potassium content label, most manufactured ferts have the trace elements in it now as well (secondary macro-nutrients calcium, sulfur etc, and micro-nutrients boron, manganese, copper etc.......... Hot as hell is a dumb ass way to classify Miracle Grow or any manufactured synthetic fertilizer..... Everything is "hot as hell" if you don't use it properly. Go back to high school and take basic horticulture man, seriously.agreed.... mg nutes are fine for veg, just gotta be careful with them as they're hot as hell... but for flower, I prefer to use something of quality and organic.
meaning that mg is notorious for having concentrated nutes.... (did you understand that word?) for example, cow manure is around 0.3-0.2-0.1, whereas the first mg box I pulled out of my garage for reference is 18-18-23.... sure, its still the same nutrients, but at a much higher concentration, making it a "hotter" fertilizer... not a scientific term, but down here, every toothless redneck would know what I was talking about. All I was saying is that one must take this into consideration and adjust accordingly, which many beginners do NOT do, and end up burning the shit out of their plants.MG is hot as hell? yet again, you need to read. All I said is to be careful with mg as it is usually "hot" or "concentrated".... everyone else got the point, and nobody else got amped up enough to need to throw out "fucking idiot"....Lol, just gonna go ahead and LOL this one. Use your "quality" organic crap for flower. Your plants don't give a fuck..... As long as you don't give them too much more than they need in any one category you won't get nute build up and poison your plants. MG, Organic, FF, Grow fuckin huge, it doesn't matter. The concentration is just that .01-.04.-.03 or 30-60-40. Use less MG or use more fucking manure, compost, guano it's your choice. Concentrated ferts are just that. Intended to be diluted. Use 1 cup manure or use 1/4 teaspoon of MG, you get my point. Don't steer people wrong idiot. MG is no hotter than anything else used properly. Fuckin idiot
