Usually right next to it (at home depot) will be scotts premium potting soil, I prefer it over the MG. Ive tried a lot of different local soils including the MG ones, the scotts has given me the best results. I only use it for bagseed though, good seeds get the ocean forrest.

I always use miracle grow moisture control when growing my mommies or soil grows. Its excellent soil with excellent results.I have posted many pictures and even mini grow journels showing plants grown in Moisture control soil.It has to be the moisture control soil the other MG soils dont work well. You need to make sure to water with water that is at ph 6.8 or you can get some burns and issues.Search some of my posts like FilthyFletch Gets dirty

I use it, and repoted about 3 times with it. Giving me big buds. The flush is the going to be a bitch cuz I know Im still gonna have a lot nutes in the dirt when I harvest in about 3 weeks. I just hope it dont give my buds a bad taste.

Keep your ph in mind. most store bought soils are not adjusted to a ph that is good for our type of growing. Fox Farm comes ph adjusted for our type of plants. Ocean forest is the standard but dont overlook light warrior or thier potting mix. I have recently used fox farm potting mix in an earth box and got phenomenal results, I also used thier organic fruit and flower granular nutes. SOOOO EASY, SOOO simply, SOOO tasty!

i have had great experiances with mg soil or scotts they both work good. i usually transplant into 5 gallon buckets and use mg soil. but i dont use it for new borns because of the nutes in it. they just dont need any at before a month old.

I have to put my 420 cents in, I'm on my third grow with MGMC and i have no probs. From seedling to harvest, I'm not saying its the best but it is convenient you can buy it anywhere anytime.
