miracle grow will work fine. do you know what kind it is.? does it say blooming fertilizer or all purpose.?

I'm using the all purpose plant food. Many will tell you to stay away from Miricle -Gro but the only problem with it (other than its not organic) is that it can and often does cause burning of the plant because it's either or a combonation of: 1.) Fed WAY too early to the plant. You should wait about 2 weeks or so until you feed it nutes. Especially if in soil, the pre-nute soil will be more than enough for it until that stage. 2.) Too much nutes are added and burn the plant. 1/4 should be used for the 1st feed and then slowly increase until you've reach or are under the max amount the box tells you. I would stick with under-fert especially in a hydro setup.

In my experiences using MiracleGro, I've mixed 1 tablespoon/gallon of the of the crystal-like fertilizer with water. I've used that for years now for weed plants and in my veggie garden. Thats full strength. Feed it every 2 weeks throughout vegging and switch to whatever you want for flowering.

Your first feeding should be 1/2 strength, don't feed it too early, etc, etc.

And I kinda think that many people on the forum have no problems with MG fertilizer and actually it is used quite a bit.
On the other hand, MG soil isn't recommended for new growers because it comes with slow release nutes in it.. which usually means that the over-ambitious noobs burn the plants because they've had no experience dealing with this problem before.

Am a new grower and have been trying some stuff and i have decided to mix into the soil Mg organic choice bone meal 6-9-0 NPK
am also using a liquid nutrient for root growth its called prop o gator and it has a npk of 0-3-2 and am using it at 25% its strength so its lower. now i have a ? before adding the bone meal should i flush the plant first or should i just mix it in. now for water i just moved to a new place with well water and i tested its PH with a pools ph set i dont have anything else at the moment now the ph came out as 7.8 - 8.4 i know this is a little high and am wondering if this is to high or what. also the alkalinity is at 120 ppm is this alright as well. now i do have a RO filter system (reverse osmosis) and i havent used it for a little bit becuse the filters take out all most all of the waters oxygen content so i ave been using the well water from out side so that its not comeing through a softener. any advise will be much welcome thank you for reading.

Is it blue chrystals? If so use a level teaspoon per gallon of water. I use it for vegging and flowering.

Good luck, BigSteve.

As an old guerilla grower I've carried many pounds of the beautiful turquoise crystals. We had little else in the 60's. Or the 70's.
Does it work? Yes
Is there way better options out there for the same cost? YES!
No problem with Miracle Grow outdoors, I'm using it now on tomatoes, but only because I can't get Peters at the local Lowe's..20180709_134853.jpg I've grown a lot of weed with Peter's indoors in the 80s

If the question is will Miracle Grow grow plants indoors, I vote Yes, but there's better choices for indoor growing available now

Will it work? Of course....but it is synthetic full of salts and way too much N for flowering.
My mom is a huge m.g. fan and has been for a few decades so we had a cucumber plant grow off
Her m.g. against my organic manure mix.
Needless to say she still refuses to believe that this is a cucumber leaf and not a pumpkin. 13580397_10153737380977263_7297616875853102899_o.jpg
Like I said ...it does work but there are way better options out there.

MG works but real care should be taken in using it.

The mineral content is not MJ friendly and in fact it's designed to give less then good results.
The CEO admitted it in an interview when Scott's bought G&H.
In fact he stated that MG was formulated to screw up quality MJ growing results..

Ca and Fe are off and other things to reduce potency also.

I used to have a thing against miracle grow, and always mixed my own dirt- but this last summer someone I know grew a bunch of plants in nothing but miracle grow and the plants were awesome- completely changed the way I think about it. still think it is over-priced though...
