Minneapolis has become recruiting ground for Islamic extremists

An American named Douglas McAuthur McCain died in Syria fighting for ISIS, the acronym for the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, which has taken over parts of Iraq and Syria.

He was from Minnesota - where he and other Americans were recruited.

The Cedar-Riverside neighborhood of Minneapolis is sometimes called "Little Mogadishu." It's center of the nation's largest concentration of Somalis, and fertile ground for Islamic terrorist groups recruiting new fighters.

McCain grew up just a 15-minute drive from here.

"He [was] not talkative. He was quiet," community leader Omar Jamal said.

Jamal says he met McCain briefly. McCain was not Somali, but his Facebook page shows he had many contacts in that community.

Jamal said almost everyone in the community denounces terror groups. But as many as 40 other young men from Minneapolis have joined Islamic fighters after they were pulled in by jihadists through social media.

Meanwhile in Ferguson Missouri.
40 FBI agents were there going door to door to investigate the shooting of Michael Brown.

Gee, I wonder how many FBI agents Obama and Holder have in Minnesota?

How many residents are confirmed to be fighting with either Al-shabab or ISIS?

Outta population of ~316 million, 40 ain't too bad...

What gets me is that 40 are from one isolated little place and it's just getting started..

there are 20 times as many KKK members, and they are already amassing a body count here in the united states.

but i guess that doesn't fit your narrative, so exclude it.

Well, he could include it if it makes you feel better. We could made that a theme here. No matter what the subject is, we include the KKK and point out how much they suck. How many times a thread do we need to do it? Should it be in every post? Maybe make it a mandatory sig for everyone.

Or..... when we talk about US citizens fighting FOR ISIS we can leave the KKK out of it? Unless you think they are one in the same?

Poster: I had to put my dog down today, very sad.

Bucktard: If you think that's bad, the KKK put down black people like they were dogs, I notice you didn't admonish them in your post, therefore you support them you racist!

Totally not a race baiter are ya.

They have been recruiting there for years. I was telling UncleBuck about this during our last round of golf.

sorry for introducing perspective and pointing out OP's peculiar double standard.

at least i didn't mention that OP cites authors like holocaust denier victor thorne or white supremacist jared taylor.

with all your whining you sound like a KKK apologist.

Sad thing is, I believe you. I have a feeling you go around thinking every conversation you hear is about skin color at it's core. I think you have a mindset that if someone is making points you can't refute, they must be racist.

The guy at the home who thinks he's really Napoleon lives that reality every day. In his mind he really is Napoleon. That's your cousin.

touche'

I like funny Buck much more than race baiting Buck. How do we get more of the former and less of the latter?

it would help if the righties joined up to chase off some of the white power, anti civil rights, racist righties so that we could be left with some moderate republicans.

but if we chased off all those types, there would be maybe one right winger on this forum. maybe two.

I don't doubt that's your reality.

I noticed several here last year and while most were right wing, I don't think some of them fit in a political box, just idiots. This summer I've seen a few, but only a couple stuck around.

I think if we chased off the racists AND the race baiters this place would rock.

TNT has went to shit, too. This whole place is going to shit!

Ever since the bear left...

Edit: since everyone left.

almost every single righty on the forum now objects to civil rights.

what century are you bigots living in?

Let's see, the arguments I've seen have been solely about property rights. Skin color has nothing to do with it other than people saying property rights have nothing to do with skin color. I've seen every last poster who touts property rights say that we are equal and skintone should have nothing to do with laws that we should all be equal under.

You bring up skin color in every thread, bring up the 1950's constantly as your proof that we need separate laws... I'd say the people you refer to as bigots (funny coming from you, considering you consistently apply characteristics to people living within certain imaginary boundries) are in the century that comes after the one you live in.

lol, property rights. right.

remind me what specific property right you guys want to exercise. would that be the "right" to exclude others on the basis of skin color, or more recently, sexual orientation?

sorry, we tried that before. it didn't turn out very well.

why don't you try learning from history for once?

We never want to forget history, I'll grant you that, and our history is mired in shit when it comes to race relations.

Our history is not our present anymore. That's something you can't seem to grasp. If racist business owners wanted to exclude people based on color, all they have to do is become a club. If your narrative and way of thinking (that erreybody's a racist!!) you'd see rampant use of this. I can't think of any, I know you have the pulse of racists, how many can you think of?

Hell, we even let women vote now, our history would suggest otherwise though. You can even vote for women and blacks for public office now. Shocking to you I know, but it's true.

But yes, out of 300 million people, you will be able to find a handful to fit your narrative. I suppose there will always be outliers. What you don't seem to realize though, is that they are outliers and not the norm.

yet nearly every single righty on this forum wants to make it legal to deny service based on skin color. why?

they are the norm on this forum, at least the right wing portion of it.
