Minisplit for 2 adjacent rooms??

So I'm about to start building my new room its 10x24 but my flower room will be 10x10. My question is could I separate the space and place the mini between the wall to cool both areas or should I only try to concentrate on the flower space only. Since summer is almost over ambient temps will be 80s.

You can get a 2 zone minisplit that has two heads, one for each room. You can get them with the same size in each room or different sizes.

I've already got one it's a 12k mrcool.diy

I guess I wont build a wall and just have one large area. Possibly build some half walls around 2 sides of the flower area.

Not sure how your gonna keep light out of flower area without a wall. Could us a tent for veg but they leak some light so you'd really have to get in there and put the light on in the tent and the room outside of it dark and go to work light proofing the tent.

I'm doing full cycle in one room. I was trying to have an area I could work in outside of the flower area but doesnt seem possible unless I set up some type of vent system

As mentioned above, get a dual zone if you can. However you could add a small dual portable hose to your veg room and it will do. I have a buddy that has two 10x10 gorilla tents and only one AC. He uses two 8'' inline fans with ducting to essentially cycle the air through both tents. It will give you less flexibility over adjusting humidity, temps and CO2, but I have seen it and it can be done.

Okay so I just reread your original post it seems like you have plenty of room. The solution would be to divide the area into 3 rooms. One for veg one for flower and a lung room that doubles as storage and work area. If really don't need veg room then just two rooms but trust me you want a veg even if it's small. For mother's and what not. Place the mini split in the lung room, use fans on thermostats in each room to that pull from and blow back into the lung room. You could even just have a tent for veg that is in the work area/lung room.
