by utilising wormholes you avoid the need to travel at light speed. You are taking a short cut.

We could never travel at light speed, the only material that could handle this sort of speed is light itself. We'd actually need to be light.

Wormholes are the future.

i never thought of that before. light is pretty durable

now skunkushy if u are rite n worm hold come from black holes would light even travel through them? i remember reading that the only way they have been able to see a black hole is because of the xrays or radiation that it is sucking into it i dont remember which one. im really interested on this subject if u could name that book by steven hawking that u wer talkin bout on the previous page would be sick as thnx.

well first off, black holes are entirely theory. they've never discovered one, they only have idea's of where they might be. even if they were sure they found one, they could never be 100% sure.


black holes themselves don't usually create wormholes, though space-time sort of allows for the possibility. as the black holes gravity is so powerful it could create a worm hole in space time, a bend in the 4th dimension.

but that's highly unlikely, but this is all theory in the first place. light doesn't escape black holes, they don't go through them, they get sucked into them or they just barely bend past them. either the light bends right by it, along the event horizon, or it gets sucked directly into it.

though if it were a worm hole, it would make sense that light would travel through it as well.

yes, it would look like many computer simulations have shown.
