Hello,
Another first-timer Indoor grow heading your way, no experience other than from literature. Got some nice seeds called Milky Way from Kiwiseeds. A good beginner seed I am told, more on the seeds further down.
Feel free to come with tips, advice and ask questions.
Seeds
Name: Milky Way - Feminized
Amount of seeds: 5
Genetics: Indica 80% Sativa 20%
Flowering: 50 - 60 days
Height: 50 - 100 cm
Climate: Temperate and Cool
Equipment and supplies
Summary so far
Date: 11.29.2016
Got some tap water in a bucket. PH was showing after 6h a 8.46 reading so adjusted it down to 6.46 before soaking the JIFFY's and planting the seeds.
EC: 301 ppm
Exception: 1 seeds was planted in JIFFY soaked in the original PH 8.46 EC 301 ppm - Named "Pippi"
Date: 12.02
Bad environment control, temp range 18-28℃ (64-82℉) I am struggling to find the fan ratio/temperature.
Date: 12.03
Got the ratio on fan right now, I think? 21-24℃ (69-75℉) over 24hrs
3/5 Seeds break soil and stretch stretch! Is it the PH 8.46 "Pippi" one of them?
Unfortunately not! you see? she is alone on the left in the image. Bad quality I know, but it will get better! On the top right one, the forth seed is holding back.
Lowered light 400W to 40cm (15.7'') above plant.
Date: 12.04
Forth Seed broke light during the night,
Struggling with keeping seedlings moist. Moving them over to 5L pots and added 1/4 tsp Root-Juice to 3 Liter water. Used approx 70% of water
PH 7.61
PPM 331
Pippi was included in this watering mix.
Date: 12.06
GOOD NEWS EVERYBODY!.......Pippi is alive
100% success rate on these seeds, It's gonna be a tight squeeze gals!!
So giving them some water today, no nutrients.
Tap water - 3 Liter
PH after 24H 8.35
PH after 1 ml PH down 5.10
0,7 Liter water to increase the PH from 5.10 to now a stable PH 6.53.
Used about 60% of water.
Water temperature a bit on the low scale 19℃ (66℉).
More post will of course follow.
Thanks.
