Milky Trichomes?

First, for microscope viewing, do you cut a few tops or popcorn buds? I'd rather not, but I'm having a hell of a time trying to focus my USB microscope, lol.

These are some of the top buds I took pics of. Just wondering if these look like they are *starting* to turn milky? I see some clear there, not seeing amber yet. Sorry for blur and blurple.

If it were me, I'd wait for some amber trichomes.

Pics with lights off are easier to judge...I use a microphone stand to steady the wifi scope.

you dont even need a microscope. just look at the whole plant.

I see more white pistils than amber trics on actual calyx. Not ready yet from this view. I'm sure a full plant pic can confirm.

The white pistils are new growth. The last time I grew this stuff, which I cloned these ones from, I was already seeing amber trichomes into week 8 without a scope. Not sure where I went wrong on that grow, but this one has bigger buds and is taking it's time. I am happy to wait

I think it's time to start flushing nutes though.

Plants lie
Some look finnished when they're not
Some look like they need another few weeks when they have amber trichome
You need a scope for REAL maturity identification
