Are you saying last time you hanged and did not cut any leaves off. Hard to understand.
I think it depends on how your buds look. If they are really leafy I would trim them up and let them dry as slow as you can without molding. When dried a plant with leafy bud it had a wet hay smell but it did go away cause I cut away the leaves that where wrapping around it upside down and it helped.
For your Bud Buds like sativa's where there's not much leaf to bud ratio or your hybrids I would just cut fan leaves.
It all depends little factors it will drive you nuts but thats how you figure it out.
Oh ya. I listen 2 John doe radio now(Worst production ive heard but about weed so why not). And they had a few guests on one was Adam from TH Seeds and was talking about drying and curing and said. Weed is like a sponge even when drying. So were you hang effects taste smell terpins everything. He was talking about smoking some Sage from a buddy's grow and it tasted like how his house smelled cause he dried it somewhere where it stinks like that. Also said best way is a wood lined box with 30% humidity I believe I will go back and listen rite away to make sure dont wanna be informative.

IMG_0938[1].jpg<End of 1st day in flowering tent...looks a little exhausted from the light LOL :( I don't foilage spray my plants, should I?

I feel overwhelmed by leaves, I figured my 1st plant would be tall and thinner...less branches

To clarify what I mean is that last time I cut all the branches and leaves and hung them separately and got the hay smell. Not sure if they dried to fast or what.

Most likely dried to fast....I've had this happen when my basement has 10% humidity when hang drying...It didn't taste like hay...just smelled like it....although the cure helped bring back some dankness.....last harvest I left alot of sugar leaves on that I would of normally trimmed....smells fkn incredible!!!!! some like the hang whole plant method....I found it to be a pain in the ass trimming when all the leaves are droopy....It's your call....like Organic said....shoot for 30% humidity when drying....most likely the room you were flowering in is the perfect place to dry(humidity wise).....good luck!!!!!

Smells up the car for hours after the toke..kinda had me worried the wife would smell it.....wife would kill me if she knew I toked....she wanted me to wait till she has the baby so we can start up together....although I did tell her I am smoking a fat J on 420 no matter if the kid is here or not.....should be any week though!!!!!! Sorry I'm always full of questions, on week 7 in flowering, i just noticed I have an invasion of spider mites cause I'm so lucky :P I read some place online that you can spray with a 3:1 of water and alcohol and it kills on contact and shouldn't hurt the plant cause it evaporates right away. Anyone have any thoughts, good or bad? Thanks for the help much appreciated.

It's day 25 from germ. A couple stragglers (particularly the Qleaner twins), but think they should be in good shape by the move. These will probably go outside in about 3 weeks or so.
They got full sun a few days ago when we broke 80 degrees here and they responded accordingly. I had fim'd them a couple days before and now a couple days later the auxiliary branches are starting to come in nice on most of them--- should have 4 or 5 tops on the majority of the crew.
