Anyone in/around NE OH? (C-town, baby) The are majority of the area is gettin over a "dry spell"

The cleveland area is much different from the rest of OH in almost every way...politically, socially, etc. Pretty sure the whole state smokes though.

Yeah, you're just not looking in the right places, there's tons of mersch in StL, the headies are kinda hard to find if you don't know somebody... At least that's what my bro from stl says.

I have been getting really good stuff as of late, Some Leda Uno and Green Crack outdoors from Nor Cal and some hg Bluecheese from a buddy in indy. I have to say im pretty happy right now, although i cant wait fot my Skywalker and Bubblegum to finish, 18 days into flower. What are some flower times of either of these strains if any one has personal experieces with either its much appreciated. Thanks

Are you sure they are what you say they are... Because it should be the exact opposite... Skywalker is mostly sativa, Bubblegum is mostly Indica...

Yeah Im pretty sure, i obtained them both from clone, and i thought SW was most indica as its genetics are DJ Shorts Blueberry x Mazar, the bubblegum is supposed to be from the orginal mother, Indiana Bubblegum, and ive heard that the clone off of her is much different than the seed form offered by many breeders. Thanks for the feedback

Right on, I haven't personally grown skywalker, I've grown Skyjack... And it was a long flowering strain, but so is Jack Herer... So maybe it was from that.

As far as the bubblegum, IDK since it's "Indiana Bubblegum"

My bubblegum is dense and stocky, not the greatest producer, but some good resinous solid nugs...

And, since you got them from clone, unless you know the grower sprouted them from seed, then you're sure it's what it is... If he got it from clone, from a guy that got it from clone... Then, well... You know.

If marijuana is not legal within the next 5 years I have no faith in humanity, period. Everyone likes smoking weed. They have for thousands of years, there not going to stop anytime soon. You know? It makes everything better. It makes food taste better, it makes music better, it makes sex feel better for god sakes. It makes shitty movies better. You know?"

Maybe he just joined, and there was a glitch in the Matrix

How was the show Lord Bluntmasta, I was talking to ya in the Death Metal thread... I didn't really like any of the recomendations I got. I like Strapping Young Lad, and the Devin Townsend band, Dream Theatre, Slayer, Tool, NIN, and other genres of music... Not all metal... Shit some good old Grateful Dead every now and then, it depends on the mood.

--- As far as including states west of the Mississippi, no dice, I started the thread, and I decide what's MidWest

You live west of the Mississippi, you live in the Heartland. Or the cornfields.
i think in the post you were responding to it said the US census considered the heartland and midwest to be synonymous. I'm not trying to hate, and I live in Chicago anyway, but Iowa, MO, and Minnesota definitely deserve midwest status.

On entirely different note, someone was putting this west coast guy in his place earlier in the thread, he talking about where a lot of the Ganj smoked in the midwest originated from, and someone said there are a lot of types that originated in the midwest. Does anyone know what some of those types might be? I'm a total newbie (this is actually my first post), and I'm about to get my first grow underway soon and I thought it might be appropriate to use seeds that started in my homeland.

Yeah, I don't know about Chicago strains, but Ohio has a few well known ones, clone only... They aren't available at seedbanks...

Lemon G, and Dumpster are two from Ohio, also there's a chump named strain called "lionheart" that has been getting some attention... There's a thread "Lemon G?" All about it...

I'm sure Chicago has some of it's own... Bagseed genetics, or re-named actual strains...

Lemon G is just a lemony columbian strain...

I believe Dumpster is simply a skunk hybrid...

I read in your post in my journal you don't like when dealers rename strains. Like making up a bullshit name for some random weed...

I agree, if you score a pound of mids and rename it "snickle fritz" you're a douche...

But in the movie Pineapple Express, that's exactly how Pineapple Express is named... It's in the deleted scenes.

And wouldn't you know it, within 2 weeks of the movie release, Pineapple Express was available for purchase from your nearest dealer...

I'm more like that, if it's good, I don't care what it's called.
