People always underestimate PH, temperature and humidity.
I have found it to be devastatingly important, its the baseline you should use to figure out issues first.
A low or high PH can result in nutrient deficiencies showing up due to nutrient lockout.
Its like driving a Ferrari and having bad handling - you take your car all the way back to the dealer, get the wheels replaced to discover your tyres are flat.
