Mid-Late Flower Deficiency or Nute Burn?

Greetings Fellow Cultivators!

So I am coming up on the tail end of my 2nd grow, which has not been all that smooth, but I have hopes that I will still be able to achieve a respectable harvest.

I am especially having problems with one plant and the strain is MotherLode. First I want to say that this plant has been neglected somewhat, mainly because I have been in the middle of my RSO cancer therapy and have been out of it a lot of the time during this grow. I have managed to keep her growing but my thoughts are that I have been underfeeding her and trying to remedy that without overdoing it. The yellowed leaves are part of that issue and just won't regain their green color, but despite that, they're still building flowers, although I realize that they may be stunted somewhat. At this point, I just want to get to the end of the grow and have SOMETHING to show from this plant.

I am growing in organic soil, feeding Roots Organics Terp Tea nutrients, MarsHydro TSW 2000 is the light and it's about 14" from the tallest flowers in the tent and about 16" from the closest flower of this MotherLode plant. I have struggled to keep up with this plant's nutrients needs without overfeeding. I did a fairly heavy top dressing about a week ago and then also fed moderately last time I watered. I am wondering if I overdid it a bit with these last two feedings/waterings because some of the already yellow leaves are starting to curl up and brown at the tips.

I am just finishing up week 7 of what is supposed to be a 10-11 week finish so there is still some time to hopefully correct whatever it is that is going wrong with this plant to get her to the finish line. Thank you for any help you might be able to give!

Whats your ph and run off ph?

Looks burned to me but I didn't think that can rally happen in organics so much

That is what I thought Oill so I have never really checked ph. I try not to water to run off and had success on my first grow. Never ph'ed that grow and it went very well.

Led lights these days are powerful, they tend to suck the life out of cannabis.Mg gets used up and bam you get green veins with yellowing between.Your probably right you didnt keep up with the food. Some hydrolized fish like a 2-3-1 and some epsom may help as its more water soluble.

That is what I have been thinking Boatguy. Perhaps I will water to get a good amount of runoff next time I water see if that helps things

Thanks Myke and I hear you about the LED's. I have been giving epsom salts so I don't think it's a magnesium def.

Looks overfed.

Yes you can burn them with organics. I burned some years ago with composted chicken manure. Turned them bright yellow.
I am thinking my gut feeling about overfeeding was right after seeing some of the responses. I think I will flush her a bit next time I water, which should be tomorrow some time. I wondered if I was overdoing it, I wanted to push her. Gotta find that line before you can avoid crossing it I guess.

Ok so if its not Mg then perhaps K ? Ca Mg and K hold hands.I see clawing from over water?
A simple try is EWC say 3-4 cups scratch it in and water over.

I don't think I am overwatering, learned that lesson on my first grow. I had thought that it might be an NPK deficiency because of the yellowing leaves and it's been an ongoing problem after I transplanted these into the 5 gal pots and did not amend the soil that was used in a previous grow. Been trying to play catch up with this gal ever since. As I said before, I did a pretty heavy topdress about a week ago and followed that up with a feeding/watering the next time they needed water about 4 days later. My thought are that I gave her a bit too much.

Whats your water source and have you added any buffers?
I am using distilled water. We are on a well and the ppm out of the tap is ~685!

How much Epsom and how often? Looks like it wants more K. Too much Mg can lock out K.
Thanks PadawanWarrior, I am using distilled water so I add 1 tsp epsom salt to every gallon of water when I water the plants. I also add calcium.

Why distilled? Ca and Mg can lockout K. I hear you're top dressing. That probably has Ca and Mg too. I'm guessing it's one of those two.

We are on a well and the ppm out of the tap is ~685 so I have to use an alternate source for water. Yes, my nutrients do have cal/mag but, and I could be wrong here, were designed to be used with water that most likely already has some cal and mag already present. Our well water is off the charts so I have just been supplementing the cal/mag that would normally be in most city tap water with the distilled water.

Are you using CalMag, or Epsom and something else?

I am actually using a homemade calcium solution that I make from eggshells, used this on my first grow too, worked great. For magnesium, I am just using regular epsom salt from a bag.

It appears you have 2-3 different issues. First off, there was too many nutrients about 5-8 days prior to your pictures. The other 1-2 problems look like PH and or Cal-Mag. I have seen this color on the upper most leaves almost always due to PH or Cal Mag (def). Since your lower leaves look pretty good, I would focus on PH. Cal Mag is a bit of a trip because it exists in most flower nutes as well as tap water. Yet, I still add 2 ML/ gal every other feeding. Can't hurt at all.

Are you using terp tea bloom ?
I would raise your lights back abit till its fixed there are sighs of stress on all the plants but not as bad. Could be k they need

Are you using terp tea bloom ?
Yes, and I am also using Terp Tea Bloom Booster. Both have calcium and magnesium. I guess it was about week 4 flower I gave them all a good heavy feeding of 1/2 cup each fish bone meal along with the maximum recommended of the Terp Tea Bloom and Bloom Booster, and I added about a half serving of the Grow for some extra N going into the mid flower. Then a week later I watered with the max again added to the water. Here we are about a week later and these problems are showing up and I think it might be over fed.

I hear you on the light and I know it's pushing some of the taller flowers a bit hard but thought it would help the shorter ones. Bad Idea?
