Mid bloom deficiency that won’t go away..

Have always used promix hp , and have experienced potassium and magnesium deficiency’s that starts mid bloom leaves dying from the tip back. My plants grow excellent during veg. I can ph my water wherever I want, when you check run off, its 5.5 no matter what. It seems to cause problems during bud development. I’ve read other people have had ph issues with promix.. I use gh flora series, moderate strength.

Same here lately. Go with a P/K boost. Leave nitrogen out. Be sure you add cal mag every feeding. Especially after flipping. I’ve only experienced this to this degree after switching to LED.

My run off is 5.2-5.4 range even though I balance at 6.2.. company says it balances itself, why are we prebalancing? And if it self balanced, how can you counteract that? If you try raising it , it just slams it back down. Any thoughts?

Don’t check ph of runoff. Only EC.

Post #5 answered already,feed to runoff every time.Easy.Elevate your pots above a pan so plant doesn't sit in runoff.

Everyone always says, more food, more calmag, more etc. It could be nutrient lockout due to there being too many nutrients locked in the soil. Have you taken a TDS meter to see how many PPM your runoff is after waterings? When I see leaves curling up canoe like that, makes me think nutrient lockout. When the nutrients build up in the soil, it makes the soil medium more acidic over time as well. Do a test for pH and PPM on your watering runoff. You want the pH to be 6.5 and PPM to be 1000. If you get PPM of 2000, pH of 5.5, then just flush with plane tap water to bring back to normal levels. City water almost always has a high pH so flushing with it unaided will help balance out the pH.

Your first post a few days ago was asking why your plants are burnt and curling. You shouldn’t be giving advice to other new growers until you figure your own shit out imo

I came here for advise and didn't get any from anyone. Oh it's my fans are too strong, oh your lights are to hot. I figured my problem out on my own, and just haven't updated my post. Thanks.

Fans and lights both cause tacoing.

Thanks for the advice, it helps to know ec can be converted from tds .. the plants pictured were at 1000 tds at run off, 650 tds going in the top. Elevating the pots over the tray will help, thanks

And the third, and most major thing imo that causes tacoing is nutrient lockout. Something no one discussed with me and wanted to pass along what I have found out. Maybe this will help him too.

I would say most people don't event pH their nutrient solution. They don't know how acidic something like Tiger Bloom is and feeds their plants a nutrient solution with a pH of 5 because they don't use pH up to balance it back out. I've been growing 3 years and still learning. Doubt I will ever know everything. Nutrient lockout is a real thing most people overlook. Apparently doesn't look like the case here but don't be so quick to judge me as a complete noob for posting a plant problem post.

If you are selling fertilizer you don't want to warn of it becoming ineffective with high levels, rather let the people think they just need more.....

The pH build up comes for the soil drying out and no runoff when using excessive nutes, IMO.
