Microwave or Natural

Hang dry. You want to dry it as slow as possible without causeing mold to form on the buds. The one good reason behind this is that it brings out the flavors.

I heard that microwaves degrade the THC in the weed, so the potency will go down, not 100% sure on that though.

Heehee, That will heat it up really good! It will come out looking like cooked spinach.

Probably taste like it when smoked, too.

whats the best way to dry bud micro wave or just let it hang and dry
Microwave weed has next to no potency and it taste like a mix of baked potato and fresh grass out of a farmers field.

Best to just be patient and let it dry.

I already know for a fact though that you will not resist temptation and a small amount will be micro'd just to find out for yourself.

I understand where you're coming from, when I'm out of herb and I got 4 lbs. a week or two away...I cut a bud here and there to "test the potency" as I tell my wife.I cut a 4'' x 4'' piece of brown paper bag (as the moisture leaves the bud the paper absorbs it)and place some cut up buds on it, then put it in the microwave. I cook it for 7-9 seconds about 4 or 5 times. It doesn't seem to loose very much potency cause I'm fuckin' baked right now:joint:

thats the most disgusting shit ive ever heard. if you really want to get high that bad, just either hang a bud above a space heater, put it in the oven for a really short period, or even just smoke some wet pot. may sound dumb but your pretty much just drying it with the lighter as you heat it up. the thc that gets vaporized just goes straight into your lungs anyway so what the fuck. seems to me that microwaving pot would be maad rank. not dryin to be a dick. peace

Hey mate, are you jokinG?? this looks like an advice... if it is a joke , I don't think it's fair to the guy that asked the question in the 1st place. It may turnout quite misleading.

To answer you Q pothead the best method to dry and cure is using the classic hang in a dark dry cool place for a week n a half or so, then cure in jars. Microwaving is a foul way to treat fresh buds.

not saying that I do this to my crop, but a bud here and there means little in my overall volume and doing the slow micro method really doesn't taste that bad with strains like MK Ultra and Super Kush.

I live at high altitude 6000+ ft. The humidity is 40% on average. I dry slowly in boxes.
I string up a large cardboard moving box. punch some holes in the side, and let it hang for 7 days, then to the mason jars for a month or so.
Slow dry keeps the smell like it was when it was alive. But beware of mold.

thats how they dry bud in some countries. the 14 days cool dry and into jars is the best way. as long as you dry natrualy the bud will be potent and taste good. :blsmoke: :peace:

Im sure there are plenty so dumb , but if you do want to fast dry the oven set for 150 c and keep an eye on it .

OK didnt think it needed to be said but here it is.Fast drying using a microwave or oven (unless its a convection oven able to stay at 100 degrees or lower with moving air) really depletes the thc.So why take time to grow nice good buds only to make them little less quality as a $40 commercial everyday oz??????????

Ya ok but i think this more about just having a quick taste , nothing wrong with that and yes fan forced ovens are better with low heat

Just got a couple of White Widow clones in exchange for two Northern Lights. I am really small time and am just blundering along. I am legal for medical marijuana here in the state of Alaska, so that definitely take some pressure of the paranoia factor. My second crop is coming along fantastically. Organic nutrients are the only way to go. Bat shit rules bearsbuds
