Microscope for ID'ing bugs

Recently I noticed that my plants had lots of little bugs in the soil and on the unpruned lower leaves. I pruned the leaves which had been rather dead looking and had lots of unknown matter on the bottom, presumed to be dead bugs/etc. There are also flying bugs in my grow room. I bought a bottle of SNS Spray 217 because I think they are spider mites, judging on the damage. There appears to be white spots here and there, and I see little white bugs crawling around even the tops of the leaves during normal flowering time.. I have 4 girls in flowering for about 2-3 weeks now and this problem just seemed to blow up from out of nowhere. Now the important questions..

Which microscope is a better deal? I hear everyone on here talking about this one from Radio Shack http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2179604

but for just a dollar or two more this one over here is LED lighting and it looks WAY better.

Anyone have any experience with this scope? What should I do about my pests? I need to identify them first, right?

I'm so sick of those hand held eye straining piles of shit. I was about to start a new thread and found this one that hasnt necrod yet.
I was looking for something like this: http://www.amazon.com/OMAX-40X-2000X-Binocular-Microscope-Mechanical/dp/B006MX03Q0/ref=pd_sbs_indust_8
But then I was thinking dont you have to use slides and oil and shit? I would just be using the 40x and 80x for checking leaves and trichomes and buds. Do you still have to use a slide for those? I not putting a whole bud in but somtimes you have to break off a little chink to see the nasties crawling inside.

oh and dude whatever you do DONT get that shitty one from radioshack. The LED is crap. Youll go blind in about 5 minutes and your other eye will hurt like hell. Youll have back strain from hunching over something trying to keep it steady and illuminated. Then youll burn your eye out from the reflection off the white paper you have to use as a backdrop to actually see anything.
I guess the lesson to take away here is it sucks. The moral of the story is its terrible. I guess you could say I dont recommend it. :P

But the thing is, it's cheap and it will do, right? I mean not everyone can afford to throw $300 at a microscope :/
If not, surely this would suffice? http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B002JCSCYI/ref=pd_lpo_k2_dp_sr_1?pf_rd_p=103612307&pf_rd_s=lpo-top-stripe&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_i=B001ACKIUO&pf_rd_m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&pf_rd_r=0D2STNBD6D93H9R2P2XB

Also, to the OP, it sounds like you have Gnats.

I would get the one you link before even bothering with the radioshack one. Or even a jewelers loupe would be better than that radio shack shit. You dont need 60x to see trichs or spider mites.
