Micro mother plant?

Does anyone have any knowledge on doing a micro mother plant? Or is that a bad idea? I am mostly just experimenting and also curious about cloning as well..I haven't grown in years and this is my first grow since I've started back. Can post pics later tonight if need be. Thanks

I did some research on this and actually seems like a really good idea for growers with limited space or want to save space but still be able to house mother plants and produce clones!

here’s the link: https://www.growweedeasy.com/how-to-keep-a-bonsai-mother-for-unlimited-clones

really want this setup but I don’t have space for a perpetual grow atm. Only one tent, So I will have to veg and flower in same

Afaik, bonsai mother plants have been quite popular over the past decade, google it and you can find the original post about them, plus many guides. I plan on making a few myself soon too. Here is why they are nice, imo: many states with strict legal plant limits will for example, allow 4 flowering and 4 "immature" plants. Well, look up your state's definition of immature, it will probably be something like "any plant not in flower that is under 1ft high and 1 foot in width." Perfect for a bonsai mother. Of course, some people would rather just use their limited numbers to keep growing from seed, but it's nice to have the option to save a special plant if yield isn't your biggest concern.

I love when people actually try to shape their bonsai mothers like real bonsai lol....I may do that with my next ones
For sure! It’s definitely an art with benefits! Or even training one to be a house plant would be cool too. I’ve seen some crazy bonnabis or canzai!
