Hey so check this out i got an EMAIL from the site runner of this website and he was all like
"click my ads, support our site" im like your a broke ass bitch you know...
http://michiganmmp.com < i think its some scammer bullshit too
he was asking for a copy of my ID and MEDCARD. i was like fuck you and hoopped back to rollitup.org
this owners a jerk just wanted to let you all know.:neutral:

Well Hello there. I am the Owner/Operator of www.MichiganMMP.com. I was directed to this site after a few members asked about what was posted here on RIUP. How is it a scam that we are asking for people to verify that they actually do have a legal card and not just another scammer trying to purchase medical marijuana illegally or a police officer trying to entrap someone. And I am sorry is it wrong to recuperate the money spent on creating a website? What else did you so highly dislike about the community?

Hello J|W and welcome to RIU. Please don't take anything personal here. RIU has been around longer than MMMP and a lot folks rely on suspicion for survival. Most of these folks are solid IMO. Take a look around, I'm sure you will enjoy :bigjoint:

And cops would do this? As I posted on the site. I do not need to see any numbers. All I need to see is that names match, DOB match, and the card is not expired.I could care less about #s or address. I am trying to make it as safe as I can.

If you don't have a # then you don't know if the card is legit... that's the thing. It's not really possible to do this safely without a total overhaul of the card system, they'd have to use public key encryption technology and they'll never do that...

I do not think it is intended to be fool proof purklize, but it gives a bit more credibility to MMMP patient members. You have a better idea before you actually meet the patient and see cards for yourself. Consider it a much safer Craigslist ;)

I wish we could truly verify a card member but it is just impossible and probably will stay that way for awhile.TheMan13 has it correct. It is more or less another level of security. Either way a hard card should always be required in person...

has anyone meet up with someone off of the Michigan MMP website? I listed an add for clones on CL and got an email from JW and I checked it out earlier. It looks pretty decent.

Yes I have met some members off of the Michigan MMP website with good results. I believe there are a couple active MI RIU members there also. The site is still relatively new/small but it is getting bigger by the day. Although, as with any MMMP deal buyer beware ...

I meant to ask is the MJ group local to Houghton Lake or was that local chosen simply as a meet up point for statewide patients. Most everyone I know with places up there are second homes.
