This would be a Michigan patients gathering. IDK it seem like it could bring on some unwanted people and more liability issues than we would want. not trying to cut your idea off all together

Well If we had this at a "public" campground than each person would be on there own I would think. Each indavidual would be responsible for their own actions, weather they are "following the law" or "breaking the law" they are responsible for their own actions.
Now should this be on Private land I would think that definently changes things. I know if it was on my property I would want it to be legal card holders just to cover my ass and my property.

Agreed if we do it at a campground we should do it somewhere remote out in nature.. anyone know of a good place that has rustic camping?

I am down with either one. But are you guys sure about liability on private property? If people camp and stay? Isn't this very very common? Honestly this would be my first time camping legal. It's hilarious remembering at times "oh ya, I am legal":hump: Booking alot of campsites is a bitch too! I have to say it sounds like a pretty damn good time though.

private property would def. get much more people, and would be safer. IMO.
I have actually been harassed at many of the campgrounds for smoking weed. lmao. How does that work in a campground medicating? I suppose like anything else it all depends on if the dnr is cool or not.

Gladstone, No I am not sure on the liability for private property. I am just saying "I" wouldnt want to be the one to find out and have "Leo" on my ass tryiing to make an example out of me.

As for campgrounds I know of a few that have "group areas" that are somewhat seperated from the rest of the campgrounds. The ones I personally know about are located in Northern Michigan, Mid Michigan, and West Michigan. I am sure there are alot more and there is more that I will think about as time goes by.

As far as being legal.... I hear ya, Its one of those things that takes awhile to adjust.... Oh hell thats right, I am legal now. LOL

I dont think it would be that hard to get a campground...... Now if it was a holiday weekend, that is a different story.

I know of one that is in Muskegon County that has a group area and it is right on lake Michigan shorline.

Yes, Most campgrounds would love to have large groups to fill the group areas they have set aside for that reason alone.

What would be sweet is to start some type of "Michigan Cannabis Cup" with a yearly trophy.
Get ahold of some Grow shops and Grow Companies and get some items donated for some give aways and door prizes.

no matter what I'm down! we could get a roll of the paper wrist bands from the office supply store and when you show your medi and id card you get a wrist band that way when you pass the J you know ur passing it to someone that is legal

No matter what I'm down too. And I didn't think of the group camping. I just automatically think of the regular campsites. I still think (someone else's) private property would be better. lol
