So I was wondering any of you guys n gals ever use a mh bulb for the first week of two of flower to help minimize stretch then swap to hps after stretch

Yes, and it is very effective at *reducing* stretch. I have personally done a test on back-to-back exact grows. So I was wondering any of you guys n gals ever use a mh bulb for the first week of two of flower to help minimize stretch then swap to hps after stretch

Yes, but it is reduced significantly. The plants grow much tighter inter-nodes if you stick with the blue spectrum for the first couple weeks of flower. You do know that the plants do stretch a bit no matter what so even if you switch bulbs later you will still have stretching.
No duh dipshit of course itll still stretch but it reduces itYou do know that the plants do stretch a bit no matter what so even if you switch bulbs later you will still have stretching.

Also, some believe (including me) that in those first two weeks of flower while you're using your MH, stick with your veg nutes, then when you flip to HPS, switch over to your bloom nutes.
