Methylone (BK-MDMA) health question

So I am considering purchasing some Methylone and I have some concerns. I have high blood pressure and am on medication for it.
Just would like to know if anyone has tried methylone and if it produced a very rapid heart rate or increase in blood pressure?

I know any stimulating drug will cause an increase, I just want to make sure the increase wont be a dangerous one.

I have a good deal of experience with cocaine and amphetamines and have never had real issues with that besides headaches (which could be caused by a spike in my blood pressure) but headaches only occured after multiple uses.

Thanks

On an similar note. Is there a way for the end user to determine if they are getting MDMA or Methylone? Will the tests work still or is it too close of an analog? The effects are seem to be very similar.

Well you just have to trust your self, startout low dose and work your way up. I can't find anything that talks about cardio problems but you never know right.

Well one is a cathinone and one is a amphetamine, I don't think that a marquis test will be able to differentiate from the MDxx. So other than that visual acuity you probably are shit out of luck. Maybe Shepj or Brevity have some info but as for as I know it isn't possible to tell.

Peace

first and foremost.. if you have done amphetamines and cocaine and have not had a problem I would step out on a limb to say you're safe, but always start low and build up just to make sure you don't have any adverse effects.

As to the marquis test...

Methylone: Yellow
Butylone: Dark Brown to Black
Amphetamine: Orange to Brown
MDA/MDEA/MDMA: Purple to Black

In order to narrow down which MDxx you have, you would have to use Simon's or Robadope's reagent as MDA has a different reaction with both of those (in comparison to MDMA & MDEA).

SHEPJ once again cleared out all of the confusion!

if your blood pressure is a constant concern I wouldn't mess around with methylone... its safer to experiment with mdma which has far more medical research!

If he is doing coke and amphetamine, I don't think he is really too concerned with his blood pressure.
I would do Methylone before Amphetanine.

Well the reason I made this thread is because I am concerned about my blood pressure. My cocaine and amphetamine use was indeed stupid and its been months since ive touched any stimulant. My friend and band member recently had a heart attack at age 25, which convinced me to be more aware and safe about the things that I do. I only did stimulants for a few months and it was only the weekend or every other weekend and thats done now.

I'm no chemist, in fact I know nothing about chemisty, but methylone is without the amphetamine right? I figured MDMA might be more on the heart and BP than methylone, but I could be wrong

Personally, if my blood pressure was a concern, I wouldn't use any of the substances mentioned so far in this thread. But if I had to pick one it would be Methylone.

Methylone is a methcathinone...

"The effects of methcathinone are similar to those of methamphetamine, initially deemed to be less intense by the inexperienced user, and often more euphoric. The effects have been compared to those of cocaine, since it commonly causes hypertension (elevated blood pressure) and tachycardia (elevated heart rate)"

It's hard to say which of the previously mentioned stimulants would put more stress on the heart.. I'm sure they are all close.

Damn, I need to start growing some Khat plants.
Not quite...

Khat contains cathine and cathinone; methcathinone is obtained via the oxidation of pseudoephedrine (whereas methamphetamine is obtained via the reduction of pseudoephedrine).

So would making methcathinone be as easy as making methamphetamine?

I need to grow Khat and Ephedra species. lol

for people who have done methylone and stimulants alike, could you compare the cardio effects to another substance? If its really close to cocaines feeling I may avoid for safety. Im also looking into MDAI which is said to not have the stimulant effects but I hear its quite boring and not nearly as euphoric.

i was under the impression that MDAI and Methylone are the same thing.

Yes. One is adding an oxygen to pseudoephedrine and the other is removing an oxygen. haha hell yeah :-)

So I hear it doesn't stack up to MDMA.. but maybe more equally to something like butylone.

Not even close.

MDAI: 5,6-methylenedioxy-2-aminoindan
Methylone: 3,4-methylenedioxy-N-methylcathinone

Not quite. Reduction does not mean removing an oxygen atom. Notice pseudoephedrine and methcathinone both have one oxygen atom.
