ok so im growing in a small closet in my apartment, and now that it is getting warmer and warmer outside and there are so many CFL's in the closet, im waking up to find temps at about 90 degrees fahrenheit. i know this is above ideal although im sure they can handle it..it gets that hot in the summer all the time outside. but i just want to hear of any methods/tips people have to lower temps for a grow. thanks

p.s. i close off a section of my apartment when i sleep so no light gets into the room where i sleep. the closet door itself isnt shut but the main hallway/bathroom hallway are closed off for when i sleep and the closet where the plants are are in the main closet..so theres not alot of ventilation while im sleeping into that closed of section of the apartment, and thats another reason it gets so toasty in there...makes it tough to figure out a solution to this problem

either air conditioning or maybe you could have a smaller fan blowing on your cfl's to help cool em off.. really need some way to exhaust the warm air though.. like a carbon scrubber hooked to an inline fan would vent it really well and help with the heat.

I use a in-line duct booster fan for exhaust thru my roof. but you don't have that option in a apartment. So I would exhaust back into the apartment with a scrubber or if you are cheap like me duct tape a respirator chem filter to your exhaust. also you could switch your light cycle to be on at night when its cooler to help lower temps.

ive had the same problems!
I used a medium sized house fan to cool it off and the temps went down.

yeah i found a pretty good way to do it. involves keeping the door open halfway and putting bed sheets across the doorway at angles so air can get through. when i woke up today it was 87 instead of 90..still id like it to be a few degrees lower
