metal halide or t5 for veg ???

hi all jus wanderin what ur thoughts are in need of some helpp asap want the babys standin tall

if you're using or planing on using HPS you might as well get a switchable ballast and use MH. You don't have to adjust it as much as T5s and they don't have to be as close

yeye ive got ya what would you reccomend 250w i want them like bushy and tall cherrs

depends on how many plants , i use about 10 t5 for 200 clones and first 2-3 weeks of veg, then turn on a 1000w mh for 2-3 weeks to get alot of sites hope it helps

I'd go with a 400 watt. It doesn't make super tight nugs but it's still real nice for personal. 250 watt is good too though but the prices aren't that much different from 250 to 400 or even up to 1000. I bought a 1000 watt kit for $331 including taxes and shipping, included the bulb, ballast, reflector, and the socket and power cable

Question… is this for a dedicated vegetative tent?
