that's cool, do you know what the bagseeds were in the sativa to indica scale? so are you gonna try to get seeds off the current girls by some hermie or male pollentaion process? (i'm stonefused)

Thanks bro! I guess progress always seems slower when your check on you plants every 15 minutes, on the minute...lol...but thanks for the kind words, glad to see them progressing finally. Once the roots hit water is when things started to take off. Bet you're getting excited about Becky, and I hope all is well with the kids!

I know nothing about the genetics of any of the seeds I'm growing right now...lol...And I DO plan on ordering seeds to plant outdoors, so the leftover seeds from my order will most likely be grown indoors. And yeah, I was thinking about ordering some colloidal silver and crossing some strains for the future, but not Lefty or Righty. The plan is to get about 6 strains going outdoors if possible, so imagine all the combinations!!!! But yeah, I'm GOING to order seeds, just haven't yet, but hoping to order between 6 and 10 strains eventually. I've had a hankering to get a nice little seed collection going. Just lately been picking seeds outta this outdoor I've been getting for like 80 bucks a zip. Stoney stuff too!
 
haha yeah cant wait to chop her and hang her to dry.. im guessing to yield right around a quarter ..as for the toddlers, i am far more excited to see them grow up and mature..keep us posted bro
 
ah, gotcha meta. lol stoned riu'ing man. was the humbolt weed uppy or downy? (that's how i usually think of sativas and indicas) . but man sounds good about the outdoor, if i had any place in the vicinity that were even remotely possible, i'd try it! (but there isn't lol).

To be honest, I'd say it's a hybrid, more leaning towards the indica side...But even there i might be mistaken. I'm sure it'll make itself more apparent when the seedlings grow a little more, and show their true colors. Yeah, these CFL grows are are a fun experiment, and I fully intend to continue, but the outdoors is where I get my biguns. Nothing like having nugs towering over your head...lol

OMG...I would have loved life at 80 bucks a zip for stoney stuff... Too get anything decent it was running approximately 60 bucks for an 1/8th.

I'm lucky, and it's definately not a normal deal. My co-worker has a buddy who pulled about 70 lbs. off an outdoor grow in humboldt last season...I get growers discount...lol...Believe me, I paid 40-60 an eigth for MANY years, and even when I used to sling bud before it was legal, I would pick up zips for around 240. This humboldt came at the perfect time too, because I JUST ran out of MY outdoor when my co-worker came through with this shit.
 
that is a damn good deal! not to mention that it had a few seeds in it?! funny how for all these years, i always thought of seeds as crap i had to pick through and dispose of before i smoked. now i only wish i had a few seeds every time i bought an 1/8th of dank bud :)

AMEN brother! To think of all that amazing genetics I just tossed out the window for years! D'OH! And yeah, the last ounce I got had like 3 more seeds in it...So not including the seedlings I already have growing, I got 7 seeds outta this bud out of 2 and a half ounces, and my co-worker gave me 4 more. That makes 11! Plus a week or so ago my girlie pulled a seed out of some shake she bought from one of the better quality dispensaries around here. THAT one i'm excited about, because it's a mix of all the shake from the bottom of all their jars, so it's a total mystery strain!! I sense a mother in my future, assuming the bean pops :)
 
Ok, so i think the plants in the DWC, Little Sprout esecially, are finally starting to take off. Blah blah blah learning curve blah blah lesson learned. I think they're about to outgrow their soil sibling, who previously has been the most developed. I dunno, I'll post a vid or some pics a little later on. I'm waiting for my girl to get here so we can go shopping for a couple things. I added a 12" oscillating fan to the veg chamber, and so far am pleased with it. It's real quiet too, so thats a bonus...though I've gotten used to all the fans blowing in my room and in actuality, I'm sure they're all pretty loud...But a long as I can sleep, right? So yeah, going out for a while, gonna be back with stuff, and we'll post a proper update.
 
Okay, so it's official, the DWC plants are passing the soil plant, growing more every day. Here they are, Little Sprout in the lead, front right. I also added a 12" oscillating fan that blows in a good way ;)

And while I was out today, I saw a cheap little magnifying glass, so I picked it up, these are the first experimental magnified vids, since the zoom on my Flip sucks balls. I think it's going to work out nicely.

And for like 15 bucks I got all the crap I needed to make my little experiemntal AC/co2 contraption. Variable AC/DC adapter from 3V-12V. I intend to put frozen water bottles at the bottom, and covering that with a layer of insulation so the dry ice doesn't kill the plastic, then the dry ice on top to keep the water in the bottles frozen longer. I figure any co2 that sublimates(melts)from the dry ice is just a bonus!

nice vids & closeups! lefty and righty are like looking at my plants in 6 days. similar bud structure and all. i'm intrigued by your ac/co2 thingy but also not sure what's going on, but that's cool. that's amazing how those dwc fuckers took off. i've been spraying milk water on my girls to attack the powdery mildew and generally keeping it real. dazing on some of my good ol' purple diesel. that thing smells so damn sweet, grinding it for the vape just stank up the room more than the two closet girls combined haha. take it easy bro.

By the way, shout out to MicroGrower for the loupe idea, and to you, Homie, for bringing that shit to my attention, I think it's gonna work out well once I get the hang of it. Is the PM increasing? Gotta take care of that before those buds start to harden up, cause you don't wanna smoke a diluted mixture of rancid milk or anything else you might be spraying on the buds. I almost lost Shirley to PM and just picked off all her leaves with it, and after I dried her I went at the buds with my snips to cut away anything TOO white. Luckily, Laverne remained unaffected, must be a genetic resistance. I love it that our plants are so close, it's a trip. Anyway, keep shit green!
 
thanks dude! yeah i'm still dealing with mildew, but the milk definitely is helping. i just need to give them a spraying and then a good "shower"... seems like they could use a shower lol. yeah it's great that our girls are so close in age man, they can pretty much play together, although your girls will boss them around a bit, not too much, but just to let my two girls know who's boss, you know.

I put 4 seeds in to germinate about 30 hours ago, and 2 have cracked so far...I think I'm gonna try to start these in some jiffy seed starting mix I bought, mostly peat moss and it says ph balanced, so we'll see.

Oh they're stanking...They smell totally different. Lefty is kinda kushy smelling, and Righty is all pungent sour pine smelling. I guess it's time to get off my ass and post an update. And I dunno if i'm going quite perpetual, yet, I think most of these are gonna be experimental plants, but at least one is just gonna just get a plain ol' LST treatment. I have seeds, and I can't sit still, they're burning a hole in my pocket, so to speak. Besides, I'm planning on taking advantage on Attitude's latest promo coming up on the 4th or something, so I can start collecting legitimate genetics.
