Smart Pot
2-Gallon Smart Pot

(Obviously not hempy, but more for a control)

100% Brick-Coco and Drain Saucer for run-off.

Uber Hempy
2-Gallon White paint pail

1-inch Hempy hole 2" from bottom. Covered in foil tape to keep light from hitting roots (and for additional pizazz).

Small whisper air pump
Hung from bungie for almost-zero sound

Smart Hempy
2-Gallon White paint pail

1-inch Hempy hole 2" from bottom.
Resi filled with Rockwool croutons

Great White Shark Clones

Quick update. Clones were initially not the greatest cuts, mainly because they were the last 4 Great Whites the guy had. Things also started a little slow because I left the fresh clones in the root-riot plugs overnight thinking they'd be fine, but they ended up drying out a little too much and looked pretty sad the next morning.

Today the clones showed a huge gain in size, so I subjected them to their first round of bondage. I've added some Insect Frass to the top of the coco and a yellow sticky-trap in the tent to control any gnats since I saw a few of them on my last grow. I'll probably mix up some of the Frass with some real top-cover as well.

I also put some Super-B+ and Nitrozime in the gravity feeder to help with any stress from the LST.

The Area51 XGS-190 is a little bit over-hyped around these forums. It is a good light and solidly built, but it's fairly loud and generates quite a bit more heat than advertised on their site. If I close the 3x3 tent, it will quickly raise to over 90 degrees--even though my house is around 65-75 degrees.

After having an unpleasant exchange with the owner of Area51 on these very forums I highly doubt I'll ever give them more of my money. That said, I've still recommended the A51 light to a couple commercial grower friends who are also making the switch from HID.

My next light is going to be DIY since it looks fun and I'm a decent fabricator.

Uber hempy already showing feeder roots hitting the resi!!

I transplanted the worst looking clone into the uber bucket, and now it's already the best looking one. Maybe I'm on to something! Fingers crossed.

Go go uber hempy. Anything with the word uber in it will naturally be better than the rest!

I love my hempy's, but during flower my 4 footers would drink my res up before I got home from work. I decided I would be clever and drill a new hole 2 inches above my original hole and stop up the original one with a rubber bung. Works like a damn champ and I can get 2 days between feedings.

There was a nice update post about 2 weeks ago but then it disappeared. I don't know if the OP deleted it or if it was lost with the like button. It was a very nice update. Uber hempy was winning.
