My timer messed up last night and one of my lights stayed on 8 hours past its 12 mark since I'm in flowering. As soon as I noticed I shut it off at 3pm and lights came back on at 7pm. What's gonna happen I'm just bummed out and don't know if there will be any consequences any help

Nothing is going to happen from just one night. I had one light run for 48 hours once in late flower, no issues. You will be fine. If your timer has a switch on it to either be "on" or "timed" tape that mofo so you never bump it to always on!

I have still had a few problems with timers not clicking off. even with the switch in the correct position. Disassemble the sucker, the micro switch inside sometimes will stick. This is a good example why a light controller is a much safer option. I suppose anything can malfunction tho.

yes, but its the large power surging thru the metal contacts that can, in a sense, weld them together. its like striking wires together to get a spark. sometimes the wires will stick together a lil bit. same thing is happening inside the timer. taking the timer apart, and clicking the microswitch a few times should free it up.

the light controller box (jus so we are on the same page, a flip box is different) wont put enough of a draw on the timer to cause that to happen. jus sayin, im stoned and tossin it out there...
