I have read that in the last rwo weeks of flower to swap hps bulb with a meatal halide bulb to boost trichlome production.Has any one tried this does it work.are there any drawbacks?
 
I've run CMH's, still have them. They are in my basement pantry.

Hope this answers your question. Not a bad light, just no noticeable boost.

Reptile UV lighting I've READ works just a bit and they are cheap.
 
They are supposed too give off uvb rays that can burn so the buds create more trichlomes to protect itself.blue metal halide.dont know what a cmh is.
 
Thanks for your response.I think iwill just stay with hps and led combo all the way through.dont want to mess any thing up now.:weed:
