Hmm thanks thinking about getting me one for another 2x4 straight flowering though, so thinking the 3000k might be nice

It works great in a 2x4. Very even coverage with more than enough power.
Depending on genetics ofc, I usually run the light 12-16 inches above canopy in flower.

I have a baby cypress 3 pushing 3 plants in a 2×4 but she is only 3500k hence me wanting a cypress 4 lol 16" huh ? Were they getting some light burn or just preference on the hanging distance ?
I have this C3 at the max, 6" above tallest bud site and they are some hungry girls putting on trichs

Never any burn. The plant would just kinda look exhausted all the time lol. Late in flowering I’ll push the plant to its limit but it just seemed happier with a little more distance between the light. Most strains Ive grown don’t mind it too much and I’ll keep the light closer to the 12’ area. But I’ve had a few picky girls who don’t handle it as well so I’ll push it back a bit and they seem to be happier, or at least they look like it!
