I guess I could still be called a newbie. I do have 2 succesful grows under my belt though. I started this new hobby with plans to grow one plant at a time, being new to this and all. I ordered some LA Cheese beans and I was off. Not knowing anything I got off to a horrible start. Went to hydro shop thinking I knew what I was doing. Boy was I wrong. I bought potting mix instead of soil. Hydroponic nutes for a soil grow. A 60w "grow light". Used a 13/9 light schedule. Almost did everything wrong. Then I found RUI. I started posting pics of my grow and got a ton of helpful advice and got things turned around pronto. I ordered some CFLs. Got 2 105w, 400w equivalent, 6200 lumens, and 5000k and 1 85w 350w equivalent 4200 lumens 3000k. Bought me some ocean forrest, and the whole Fox Farm nute trio pack. Put all this in a 4x6 closet and good things started happening. Now I'm in the middle of my biggest grow yet. I got 2 more cheese plants and a lemon skunk in their 12/12 cycle. A lowryder diesel auto, (just wanted to try an auto) that's flowering. And just started an LSD, the church, and a bubba kush. I'd like to thank everyone who's given a helping hand. Mel Frank's grower guide was a big help too. Any kind words are welcome and apprecieted

Just got fans, a little fan hanging in the closet and a box fan pulling in cool air from the room. Temps never really get to high and never really kept up with humidity levels. Still just working with what I've learned in the last 7 months.
