You can work around your DR.. You call Heath Canada and get form.... then you ask Dr. to draw up a list of illness..(no mention of pot, just general letterhead Dr. paper)..then you call Ont. Compassion club..they'll help..you get a DR waiver form (he's not responsible for perscrip) that keeps him in the clear... I've a few friends in Ont that have done it....I have some pics of form..I'll see if I can load them in a few min.. .it takes a year or two..but with C club help its faster...
Luck...

howdy,
I cant tell you that you will need to prove that your medication yout taken for your add is not working that pot does.I believe you know whats best for you I have may people get their exemptions but most times because of ypour age and that dr dont want to sign you have a big trip ahead. dont be discouraged. I worked as a mental health worker for 10 years and I know weed works for add/adhd pyshs know it everyone knows it but they dont want to be the ones giving a teenager weed because it will lead you to do herion , crack and kill your family(sorry got carried away there) but your right weed is way better for you than ritlan or the other pharm drugs. if you go to a doctor tell him you eat your cannabis because dr always say smoking is bvad for you. stay in there tell your doctor and educate him with knowledge about the bennefits of cannabis for you. but what ever you do dont give up

Yeah definitely don't give up. It took me probably a year and 4-5 frustrating visits to my doctor to get him to sign the form for me.
He was totally unwilling to even discuss it in the beginning, and in the end he said sure it doesn't hurt to try, so you never know.

PS: My doctor's extremely conservative, so if he was willing to do it, there must be others.

This is the release form I brought to my doctor...
