I believe so, I’ve been told b HC there was a dateIs the mmar injunction still in effect?
Exactly. C-45 specifically says the “medical system” will be reevaluated in 5 years. They're being repealed because both aspects are covered under the new cannabis act regulations. It's a technicality & nothing to get your panties in a bunch about.
If you can find me proof nothing’s changing in the program I’m sure many would be thankfulThey're being repealed because both aspects are covered under the new cannabis act regulations. It's a technicality & nothing to get your panties in a bunch about.
That's a convoluted way to look at it. When the gov has said they aren't changing it for 5 years until a review & there's a logical explanation for repealing it (ie. cannabis isn't part of the CDSA so why would it be regulated under it when there's a new act, C45/cannabis act, that now regulates all activity including medical), why would you assume it's being changed? If you can find me proof nothing’s changing in the program I’m sure many would be thankful

Access to Cannabis for Medical Purposes Regulations — section 35 licences
158 (1) Subject to regulations made under subsection 161(1), every licence issued under section 35 of the Access to Cannabis for Medical Purposes Regulations that is in force immediately before the commencement day is deemed to be a licence issued under section 62 of this Act and it continues in force until it is revoked or, if it is expressed to expire on a particular date, it continues in force until it expires, unless it is revoked before that date.
Yeah seems good, it’s that bottom language that scares me “revoked or expired” it doesn’t stop a repeal... when there’s no renewal the expiry kicks in.
