Medical Grow – Coco, 1200w. [Himalayan Gold & OG Kush]

OG's usually takes a little longer to harvest from my experience. I have moved over to a Kush Hybrid instead, although the OG always a popular med due to its taste and unique medical effect. The OG strain also is a good yielder. I have it lack of had to deal with its lack of heat resistance on two occasions. I will post a pic of the champ from my last harvest this OG tree ended up standing over 6 feet and ended up bending due to its weight. You look have everything under control very green still.. You may have answer this already but tell me about your set up? 1000watts? 600watts? how many? do you top feed or fill and drain? c02? how offend do you water. I will also post a few pics of my current run. We are only a few days apart.

Yeah, it's the lack of smell that puts me off doing it. That's a big part of my enjoyment of smoking weed, the gorgeous smell!!

No man...never 0 in coco, you'll just wash all the goodies away.

I would say something like 0.8-1.0 EC at about 5.5 ish yeah. A lower PH than what you normally feed at though.

2x 600w HPS, 1x 125 CFL @ 6400K

No CO2 but tons of fresh air

Top feed w/ Shiva A/B, Sumo PK, Bud Boost, Silica Blast, Sweet Grape.

No drain what so ever in the entire run. Plants are doing so well, I don't think there is any salt build up, cash crop nutrients are supposed to be organic and very top quality w/ low salt build up.

During veg I fed from 1 EC all the way to 2.2 EC, in Flower I am at EC 3.0.

I am only legally allowed to have six mature so I am running 3 plants in 5 Gallon smart pots and 3 plants in 3 gallon sq pots. This is to see if the smart pot actually makes a difference in the yield or whatever else.

I water every day or every other day depending on the weight of the pot. Since this is my first time, I am still trying to get my watering technique down.

Since I will only have 6 plants at a time, I am probably gonna stick to hand feeding since I can run different strain and keep them happy separately instead of them sharing a reservoir.

Man your OG Kush looks really different from mine. How much did you yield out of that 6 footer. You seem to have some big colas, which seems almost impossible on my plants.

Even though my lights are cooled and pretty close to the plants, the OG still streches a whole bunch and the nugs are spaced apart, unlike the HG that stretched but then filling out to make big ol colas.

Aight sounds good, we'll just go with the flow to see how my plants are doing by around 6 weeks.

Since I am out of bud again. I might just flush 1 plant all the way by the 6-7th week. And yes that will be the gold not the OG.

Chopping one gold at 6-7 weeks will give a lot more room for the rest of the 5 plants to grow and also if I have medicine then I will be a lot more patient with the other five and let them take as long as they desire.

For the final flush did you use 0 EC or were you still at ~1.0 EC. Did you use any flushing products to speed the process up.

My plants were tops 3-4 times.. vegged for over 6 weeks under a T5 then triggered. Like I said it was my champ... yielded a half.. I am running Canna Coco myself right now. I like the hand watering idea.. Allows for individualized attention and harder to over feed. You are not getting any run of after watering? Interesting!! I am using buckets myself... i put about a 1/2 inch of perlight at the bottom of the bucket as well. Fresh air raise your c02 ppm by 200 just not enough to take your grow to the next level. c02 ppm needs to range from 1200- 1500 ppm.. This will guarantee a denser med. Will post pics of current grow tonight..

Wow, that is definitely a champion girl.

Yes I am not getting any run off. I give them 3-4 liters and still no run off.

After this grow I will have to add the CO2 for sure. Thank you so much for your input brotha.

12/12 Day 25

All is well. Everything is going as planned if not better.

Woooo, I was looking at the pictures of OG again and noticed that some of the hair are already turning orange, is that normal for OG around 3.5 weeks in. The gold's hair are still white.

and what kush hybrid is that. how does the quality of this kush compare to the big 5 footer OG.

This is a Blackberry Kush strain... Seems on point.. grown indica dominate strains before not as large of a harvest easier to bush out and control..OG is always on demand if done correctly.. Got 14 x 5 gwatt all vented but one.. 75 gal res under (I think) its 9 x 5 tray.. veg under t5 24x7 6 weeks top 3 times during veg then top week 1 or flower.. running the canna coco for the first time with the perlight at the bottom and capillary mat below that (took a pic of it).. used to use the ready grow mix but think the coco supports better root system.. running advanced nuts A & B seni , KK , bud candy , cannazime , cal-mag, pro silica, and this week running PK 13-14.. planning on running overdrive as well...C02,RO, and one in/out vent...

Damn, that himalayin buds are beatiful! They look amazing for day 25. You can see the difference of my day 25 kush in my avatar. It looks like those are gonna be some good yeilders.

Hybrid or sativa? how tall are they?

thats going to be a fine sea of colas man! i think you'll surprise yourself how good they're going to turn out.

Himalayan is a Ind/Sat Hybird, however I think the pheno I have is definitely way more sativa than indica.

They are ranging from 3.5-4 ft.

The HG has stopped stretching but the OG is still doing it.
