So Im going to be starting a collective grow and have a 45 plant max. I was curious how other growers would maximize their yield and have a perpetual grow while maintaining only 45 plants at all times. I figure I could have a room of 4 1000w lights with 4 plants per light. Thats 16 plants under 4k. In another room I could have another 4 1000w but this time each have their own 1 plant( trying for 4x 1pound plants in that second room). So this gives me 20 plants flowering at all times and if all goes well 8 pounds(1lb per light). The other side of the room could havea few MH and the other 20 in veg. that leaves me with 5 I could keep as mothers. This is the best I can think of, anyway... I figure this way it will be perpetual so I can get more grows in per year but also have a few more pounds by growing 4x 1pound plants and still staying within my limit... although this way is more risky because if anything happens to any of the 1 pound plants i'm out an entire pound.
Anyone know the sq footage of an area you would need for something like this? I was thinking somewhere around 500sq ft. Does that sound about right? Quick Sketch / Idea Rendering below...
If there is a standard to how best to maximize a 45 plant limit for collectives please give me your input!
Thanks!
