Med. M J , in Illinois......when ?

In late 2013 , Gov. Quinn signed into legislation , the laws allowing legal , medical MJ, in the state of Illinois.
As yet , we have no dispensaries open in Il. , and only a few clinics open to see patients, and write legal prescriptions .

I was curious if anyone knew from experience, in other legal med. states, just how long it takes for all of this to take place, for groweries to supply dispensaries, etc.
So, my question is ....how long does it take a state to get its act together and open for real biz. , once the law has been sighned ?

Thats about 8 months to long, but I've read , recently by fall.

Another thing I heard, which pisses me off a lot..........med. users, will have to give up Conceal / Carry permits, FOID cards, in other words, do you want legal weed, or do you want to keep your guns.....YET .......you know the wino on the corner is packing......I will stick withblack mkt. weed, n this case !!!
