The bottom half of my plant is starting to bud up. (hairs turning red and starting to collapse) while the top half seems to still be full flower. At this rate the bottom half of the plant is going to be done far before the cola matures.
I was just wondering if there might be some reason for this, or if it's normal, and I just haven't seen it before. I tend to get a little over protective of my plants since I'm only able to grow one at a time in the space I have.
Right now I'm just worried I'm going to have to butcher this girl before she's completely ready. As I have a specific point in bud development that I've always trimmed at.
Anyhow, I would provide pictures but I think I've explained it pretty clearly. I would almost think the bottom buds somehow got pollinated, but I really don't see how it's possible.
edit: needless to say I generally don't expect it to happen this quickly after flowering. The male that sprouted with her was chopped the very day it showed gender and was carefully removed. Oh yeah, and aside from this little quirk this is probably the healthiest plant I've ever grown, no leaf curling no discoloration. She's been a real beauty despite the fact she sprouted a little sideways. This has just made her easier to water though.
in soil, mild (diluted) blooming nutes were applied about 2 weeks ago. Outside of that it's a completely organic grow.
